I sometimes get confused about "where it's at".  I was always taught that "where it's at" was poor grammer
and I was never allowed to use the phrase, so maybe that is why I get so confused.

One day it seems that Open Discussion is "where it's at" and on another day it is Speculation that is "where it's at"
and yet again Flip-Flopping seems to be "where it's at."

Then if I get the wrong "where it's at" on the wrong day, I get called out for not agreeing with what is being spewed on that day.

It doesn't leave much room for me or many others.

You and Beth Holloway are on the same page in your speculation regarding where the assault against the person of Natalee Holloway took place.

Janet,

I simply don't believe Natalee was disposed of that first night. I don't care if Joran claims that is what happened or not. Like you said, Joran told different stories to even Patrick. Yes, Natalee may have indeed had "seizures" that joran witnessed -- that DOESN'T mean those seizures happened on the beach or in the circumstances he told Patrick.

Larry King Live - February 23, 2006

TED ROWLANDS, GUEST HOST: Tonight, Natalee Holloway's parents speak out. Now that the chief suspect in her disappearance, Joran Van Der Sloot, has talked, nearly nine months after their beautiful daughter vanished in Aruba, Natalee's mom, Beth Holloway Twitty, and her dad, Dave Holloway, talk about trying to keep hope alive. ....

BETH HOLLOWAY, NATALEE HOLLOWAY'S MOTHER: I think that was one of his excuses of why they stopped at his apartment. His apartment, by the way, is detached away from the main residence. And, you know, if you've got an individual that you're going to take advantage of, it's not likely that you're going to go to the beach. You're going to go to your apartment. And we believe that's where they stopped, and that's where the incident occurred.

First one-hundred days Eman-cabinet

Prime Minister Mike Eman arrives at the Administration Office together with his messenger for the press conference on the first one-hundred days of his cabinet. A bit further on: State-Secretary Ank Bijleveld leaving the office of the Governor with whom she had held a conversation.

ORANJESTAD — The Mike Eman I cabinet is celebrating the first one-hundred days as government. During a press conference at the entrance of the Administration Office, with members of the cabinet standing behind him, Premier Mike Eman (AVP) said he is proud of all that had been accomplished during the first one-hundred days.

“During the past 100 days, we have proven that we are able to shift the emphasis of a small group of people and political appointments to maximum attention for those who have to survive with less in our country.”
Eman referred to the halving of the sales tax (bbo), the 25-percent increase of the dole, the increase of schoolchildren allowance for dole-families to 100 florins per child, the re-opening of the Administration Office, the closing of the relief and aid to addicts, the renovation plans for the town centers of Oranjestad and San Nicolas, and the return of strategic partners such as KLM and Carnival Cruises. Furthermore, the relationships with the partners within the Kingdom have improved considerably, says Eman. “We are working together with Dutch ministers and the Dutch Premier is paying attention to situations on Aruba from the refinery up to the airline company.”

Public Purchasing Power
During the press conference, the Premier received the criticism that in spite of halving the bbo, one does not notice much of lower prices for the consumer. “There are indeed price reductions of certain products, amongst which, gasoline”, says the Premier. He points out that as soon as the government has reversed the ‘millions-costing’ measures of the last cabinet, there will be more space to support the population, in particular the citizens with a lower income. The Minister of Economical Affairs, Social Affairs and Culture, Michelle Winklaar (AVP), added that one is currently working on the authorities of the inspectors of the Finances Directorate and Institute CAS to impose fines during price inspections in shops and supermarkets. By cabinet order, party-members of the government party had gone shopping at various supermarkets and mini-markets two weeks ago with a specific shopping list for a family of four. The purpose of the shopping was to determine whether there was a question of competition between the supermarkets.

Bijleveld
State-Secretary of Kingdom Relations, Ank Bijleveld-Schouten (CDA) is currently on Aruba for a working visit. “A considerable number of conversations had been held on mutual cooperation during the past one-hundred days”, says the Premier. Bijleveld-Schouten first had an audience with Governor Refunjol this morning, followed by a meeting with Premier Eman in the Administration Office together with the Representative of the Netherlands, Rob Vermaes, where both partners will discuss the financing of the educational project for underprivileged youngsters at the marines barrack in Savaneta. They will also discuss the development of a contingency plan for Aruba in cooperation with the Netherlands. The Minister of Infrastructure, Environment and Integration, Benny Sevinger (AVP) will be giving a presentation tomorrow on the renovation of the town centers of Oranjestad and San Nicolas. Aruba also wants to receive a confirmation on technical support upon completion of this project.

Paulus is a lot of things.. I have never considered him foolish or stupid..
He is extreme intelligent. He is a Viable Chess Opponent.
When it comes to law, He is very sharp and he advises this other lawyer that represents Deepak and Satish.

He very well could be the culprit in any crime against Natalee. We have no way of knowing he is not. It was all set up when Beth and Jug arrived.
All of it by design..
From the kid that told Jug that Joran owned that silver Honda and took them to Jorans house.. "and the car belonged to Deepak"
Then when the police sat in front of the home with sirens on and Paulus stalled for time.
He had thought this whole thing out way before Beth landed.
Do not under estimate this man.

Best thing anyone can do is party at the same Club in L.A. When Deepak and his little shit come to town. Ask some quality questions..Make them feel right at home..
Buy him a drink.
Give him a ride home.... Because friends do not let friends drive home drugged, or something like that.

I have long said that Paulus was involved in Natalee's demise.  When Natalee died (in the Sloot home) the wheels were in motion.  He had the EVERYONE in power on his side.  He had time to set his plan in place.  Was it enough time?  No.  Even Paulus asked her how did you get here so fast?  By Beth arriving on the island so quickly she screwed part of his plan up.  Buy her instinct as a mother she screwed his plan up.  By Jug being a Type A personality he screwed his plan up.

So now the question will be.  By the Kalpoes going to trial (which I hope happens) will it screw Paulus plan up?  I think it will.  But will Justice for Natalee come from their trial?  No I don't think it will but I will be happy to see Dr. Phil's lawers tear another A hole in Deepak and Satish.

Paulus definitely had a plan and played mastermind throughout. He also had power players on his side.
He got extremely lucky at times, though. Beth's speedy arrival definitely had him sweating (profusely).

Most assumed that law enforcement were on the up and up. It only took a short time for doubts to arise.
Then, it soon turned into an "us" against "them" chess match on their soil, among their cliques.

My best analogy has been: Beth was a gerbil trying to simply find her cheese. Aruba did everything it could to prevent it from happening. As she got too close, they put her back at the starting line. Obstacles galore along the way. They were watching her every move. They helped her pursue false leads to the nth degree.

About court...Deepak and Satish may not have to appear in court as Plantiffs. It is my understanding that attorneys can represent Plantiffs, without their physical presence, for this type of matter. I hope I am wrong...

If they think they have any shot at winning this case it would be in their best interest to appear in court.

I was just searching around and came across this meaning of Emotional Distress.

http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/emotional+distress

emotional distress n. an increasingly popular basis for a claim of damages in lawsuits for injury due to the negligence or intentional acts of another. Originally damages for emotional distress were only awardable in conjunction with damages for actual physical harm. Recently courts in many states, including New York and California, have recognized a right to an award of money damages for emotional distress without physical injury or contact. In sexual harassment claims, emotional distress can be the major, or even only, harmful result. In most jurisdictions, emotional distress cannot be claimed for breach of contract or other business activity, but can be alleged in cases of libel and slander. Evidentiary problems include the fact that such distress is easily feigned or exaggerated, and professional testimony by a therapist or psychiatrist may be required to validate the existence and depth of the distress and place a dollar value upon it.
