OK my nephew just came in the house with a Christmas tree.  This thing is so big he cut the top twice already.  I came inside and said you have to go back to the place and they will cut the bottom for you.  They are standing there looking at the tree like it is going to resize itself.  I feel my blood pressure going up so I知 getting out of here.

Hope Justin's grandmamma is doing much better by now.  All this is to be expected after such major surgery.  The scan might have making sure there was no PE.  I would not give someone up for a situation like this. At the young age of 32, I had lower BP, higher fever and heart rate with my Billroth and then at age 39, a modified Roux-en-Y, and required dialysis as anm acute, short-term, life-saving measure as well as a ventilator.

Some temperature following major surgery is to be expected and lower BP probably from a shocky person who was quite sick, but pressors seem to have gotten the BP up and is slowing the heart rate per primem, and it will adjust, but do not want to adjust too, too fast.

The benzo's should keep her from being agitated and then her heart rate etc., can normalize.  Negate any visitors right now.  In ICU in our area it would not be permitted save for 2 at a time for 5 minutes every 8 hours.  So limit the visitors, especially the ones with sad faces.  Mom needs to rest.  Body's cells cannot repair with so much agitation and guests are an agitation to a sick person, no matter how much you love them or they you.

Many years ago, my Dad decided to top a pine tree in our yard for the Christmas tree.  Yes, it was perfectly shaped, but the trunk was too wide for the tree stand.  He spent hours whittling it down to fit.  I guess this brought the memory back....but then, there are others....years that the last minute tree purchase brought a couple of trees that needed help...Dad drilled holes in the trunk to fill in bare spots with sprigs.  Guess nephew isn't the handy one just yet....maybe he'll get there...or maybe you need to get him a few tools... Wink  Very Happy (Did you take pictures? lol)

Guilty....I'm the handy person in this house because I was around to help my Dad when my brothers were not.  My DH & sons are maintenance challenged.

Of course, a tree surgeon robot would be helpful... Laughing

Words of Wisdom Tyler.

Folks who have not been ill seem to have no idea about how when sick folks even though they love their loved ones need lots of rest. So they really need to limit the time span of their visits or at least not be trying to keep the person awake. Just say name, we love you and are here if you need anything.

I HATE having company when I'm in the hospital. I always make a point to tell people at work and church NOT to visit me when I'm there. I only want my mommy or my sister. Everyone else needs to keep out!

DJ Paul...."Paul Brough look a like"?...

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b223/NYSusan/PaulBrough2-1.jpg
Mr. Pink/Paul Brough

Does anyone think these are the same guy?  Put blue contacts on Paul Brough....
He fascinates me!  All his pornography businesss', so-called photographer/model search, novelty toys, & his latest: robotics.

He built up his pornography business in Aruba & Miami
Then got into SnubaAruba on Palm Island
Each morning, he & his partner Chuck Di Perri took the ferry over to the island. Suddenly, in about July 2005 he "disappeared"

Did the MB students go to Palm Island?

(There's an x-rated movie: 'Mr. Pink & the Poolside B......"
I believe it's a masked Brough & Lorenzo)
