FOM, short of arresting investigative journalists, Aruba placed the costs of satellites up so high, such an exorbitant rate, that not even the major networks found it feasiable to pay those costs.  This is what the old USSR did to groceries to starve their people that were not eligible for the mental institutions.  I think they are taking a page from Chavez, Fidel and the other dictators' playbooks, to repress the population so that no one will talk about what is going on.  That must be the Devil's Rock there.

You know how we were discussing the fact that some 3rd world countries were progressive as far as cell phones because the poor residents stole the copper wire used for land lines?

Well, I'm watching the local news and there was a story about people here in my hometown doing the same thing. Shocked

Let me assure you that this doesn't only happen in your town but many places.  Also copper plumbing lines are sometimes stolen from empty houses.
It is in no way peculiar to any group of people.   Wink  

One of the strangest thiefts I ever heard of and one that almost seems more trouble than it could possibly be was the theft of 58 concrete blocks and 23 pigs.  Now that took some work I am sure.

But I think wires and plumbing lines have more to do with the current value of copper, the recycle value of the metal.  Always somebody around who will steal it, it seems.

you have been a great help.I still am confused though,are the painted rocks in the area of the Fisherman's huts?Do you think her fataly injured body was taken from the rocks to the vds home?I am trying to understANd.Do you know where the cell phone calls were made from?I am trying to reconnect the dots.Logic dictates that I take joran as guilty and work back,so I am.Happy New Year.Captain Picard sends his regards to CBB.Cat

No, the painted rocks are near the Lighthouse.  The Fisherman's Huts are near the Marriott Hotel.  Looking at the map I posted there is a notation on the map "Joran and Natalee".  That is noting the location between the Marriott Hotel and the Fisherman's Huts.  Not sure on the cell phone location as it seems it was hard to pinpoint which exact tower it came from if I recall correctly.

I went over to the Important Case Documents thread and looked at maps and such.  Maybe this will help.  


Some of these Monkeys know this stuff like the back of their hands.  Unlike you and me.  The Important Case Documents thread is a good place to look for info though.
