Time test post

Time for me in the forum says 7:56 when it's actually 8:06am.  So the normal time difference is 10 minutes behind.

It says 11:57 for me when it's 11:11 here. But that's closer than it's been for me in a long time!

I just went into my profile and found that it was set for GMT -4:00, so I changed it to -5:00.  Now, it reads closer to what Klaasend posted for her timezone.

I went to the FP when I couldn't get in the Forum and the first thing I noticed is that the time was right there. It was such a surprise! It was nice. Wouldn't trade it for the cage, but nice.  Wink

I gotta run, work calls!

So it is about 46/47 minutes off?

It was until I reset Timezone in my profile to GMT -5:00, BT.

You can either  change the time in your profile or live with it.  I have no idea what's causing the problem.  I've let Tom know so I'm sure he'll look into ASAP.

Okay, I went in and reset my profile. As long as we know it's off, I'm sure it's not a big deal. If you're looking back for a post it helps to know the time, but if we know the time is off then it's not hard to compensate for that.

Is Dana's Daily Commentary podcast available?  It's not coming up for me for today.

I was able to listen to yesterday's by using the Download MP3 button.  Today's only has the SM Radio & Podcast buttons and they are not responding for me.   Maybe later, or a reboot... Question  (this pc has Winamp & WMP)

Did you try the popup?  That's what I usually do for the podcast.

I just went directly to the Radio Show and was able to hear today's.  It just wasn't working from the FP Daily post, if that makes sense.

Thanks.

Just stopping in to wish all the Monkeys a Happy New Year.  Seems I missed the Christmas greetings... family issues on almost every front. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

Justinsmama, glad to hear your mom is showing some spunk, means she is getting better.

Snoopy, my prayers are with you and your family.  Glad you had some time with your sister this Christmas.

It seems many of us have family medical situations that make us grateful just to have one more Christmas with them.  We are in that same boat.   My mother, who has Alzheimers, had a seizure on Christmas Eve, but has had none since.  She has been on hospice for over a year, and continues to just hang on with little quality of life.  It is such an agonizing disease for the family.  My father's Parkinson's has rapidly deteriorated, to the point he is no longer able to feed or dress himself.  Up till a couple of months ago, he knew us, at least on his good days.  Other days he was what we describe as "partly cloudy".  My sister was there Christmas Day, and he did not even acknowledge her presence.  We are all coming to grips with the fact that this is probably our last Christmas with either of them.  Hard, but we know they will be together in a better place... They had their 55th anniversary this past April.

While family obligations may keep me from posting as much as I would like, I will continue to read as I can, and will be here for Natalee's family until they get answers.  Thanks for bringing the news into the forum for those of us who lurk a lot.

I may not post much, but I sincerely appreciate the monkey family.  I always draw strength from the sharing that goes on here.  Thank you all for that.  We all came here for Natalee, and we stay for Natalee's family... but we have come to mean a great deal to each other.

I wish for each of you a New Year rich in blessings, and, for Natalee's family answers and closure.

Good morning, monkey loves. I just finished reading the prayer thread and a few others in the monkey lounge and thought I'd pop in and say hello. I'm trying out a new avatar that might be easy for someone to spiff up for New Years, if anybody has time  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

My thoughts and prayers are with you all!!
