Yes ... that "enduring question of what did the Anthonys know and when did they know it" ... As for me, I think it never goes away simply because of their hostile, defensive, and totally un-natural obnoxious behavior right from the outset.   That alone makes you wonder why this behavior?? Are they covering up or just mad at themselves for not protecting Caylee more ????

“New in the case against Casey: an ambulance chaser and a rat,” WFTV-Channel 9 anchor Martie Salt said.

Well, that certainly grabbed the attention.

“That’s how one potential juror described Jose Baez in court,” Salt continued.

WFTV’s Kathi Belich had obtained jury surveys from cases in which Baez was a defender. The point of the report: Would defense attorney Baez’s image hurt Casey Anthony’s case? She is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee.

Belich focused on surveys from an Osceola case in 2008, shortly after Caylee’s remains were found. Belich repeated Salt’s comments and added that potential jurors also described Baez as “a jerk who should find another line of business”  and “not a good lawyer who is full of himself.”

WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer suggested that potential jurors were focusing their anger — over the Caylee news — at Baez.

But Belich noted that time eased the fury directed at Baez: Negative comments dropped from 13 to just two a year later in another case. In that case, in which 80 potential jurors were surveyed, four had good things to say about Baez and 30 had no opinion.

Almost half those surveyed in both cases said they didn’t know a lot about Anthony’s case, Belich said. That statistic stood out.

What did it all mean? “It’s not scientific, but it could mean that if her [Anthony's] trial doesn’t start here in another year and a half, that they might at least try to find a jury here,” Belich speculated.

I checked to see if the defense has filed any depo notices yet................NOPE!
And more importantly  IMO....................NO MOTION FILED FROM
THE DEFENSE RE the ex parte in camera meeting with the judge. WHY NO OBJECTION FILED????  Something is UP IMO...something BIG!!!

Millionaire murder suspect Bob Ward's defense is making an all out attack against the scientific evidence.

In newly filed court papers, Ward's team is digging for dirt against the Florida Department of Law Enforcement crime lab.

Ward is charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of his wife Diane in the couple's Isleworth mansion.

The defense filed a motion asking for contamination logs along with all kinds of documents related to how lab staff handles or mishandles evidence. Now more than ever, an Orlando defense attorney said law enforcement labs are being questioned about their methods and objectivity.
The National Academy of Forensic Science came out with a scathing report on virtually every crime laboratory in the United States, basically saying that because they are overseen by law enforcement that they are not being neutral or objective in their findings," Orlando defense attorney Richard Hornsby said.

In Ward's case, his attorneys want to know the crime lab's guidelines, manuals and procedures right down to how analysts maintain the instruments they use. There's a special emphasis on DNA testing and a request for a "sample contamination log" for the individuals involved.

Hornsby said the reliability of law enforcement lab testing was also questioned in that recent National Academy of Forensic Science report.

"They find that many of the tests do not stand up to scientific scrutiny," Hornsby said.

All of that scrutiny, Hornsby said, can lead up to something very important to defendants like Ward and Casey Anthony. The more errors that can be found in how law enforcement processed and tested key evidence, the more doubt jurors could have about its reliability.

For their part, the prosecution has requested a subpoena for Ward's medical records while he was in jail.
The defense has filed an objection and is requesting a hearing to fight the subpoena.
