The latest in the Casey Anthony saga: She’s down one attorney.

TV stations announced Sunday that Todd Macaluso had departed the case and repeated the news this morning. Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee.

Absolutely no shock here, Bozo might be next indeed!   Now the whole defense utterance by Macadoodle that the body was placed there after Casey was in jail will be tainted by the seedy crooks that are defending her! (not to mention scientific evidence that will place the remains at the recovery scene in June (plant/bug, etc)

Besides losing his license to practice law he needs to be committed for even putting forward that a) Casey is innocent b) someone else did it c) he likes Casey & knows what it is like to lose a family member....one down a few more to go

A reader suggested it, and my editor thinks it’s a good idea.

Here’s the challenge:

Pretend you’re a prosecutor. What questions would you ask Casey Anthony if she took the stand? Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee.

Please use only the facts, not hearsay. Please be professional. I don’t want to rule you out of order.

Thanks to the reader who made the suggestion — and to everyone who follows the blog.

Number one question:   So Casey, what exactly were your "by other resources" that you used to locate Caylee whom you allege was "missing," specifically?   Can you provide legitimate names, addresses & other contact information on whom you elicited assistance from?

2.   Did you fight with your mother the evening of June 15th?   If you left due to that fight did you take Caylee with you, and where did you go & can you provide proof of same?

3.  Casey why were you out partying and screwing men instead of frantically looking for Caylee?   Did you think that Caylee would reappear under a bar stool?

4.   Casey, you claim that your car broke down & you left it at Amscot, why did you not get assistance to get it towed or ask your parents or anyone to help you?   Why did you decline Tony's offer to help you with your alleged broken down car?   Why did you lie that your father was going to help you when your parents claim they had no idea you left it there or that you had difficulty with it?

5.  Why did you dodge your brother the evening of July 3rd while you were out partying at a bar?

6.  Do you have any receipts or proof that you went to Tampa?   Where is the hospital records for your friend that got hurt in an accident during that trip you reported you went on for work?   By the way, why did you lie that you worked at Universal when you were fired in 2006?   Why did you lie that you worked at Sports Authority?

7.   Casey, why is you have absolutely no pictures of your alleged "Zanny the nanny" after so many years that this person reportedly cared for Caylee?

8.   When you went to Target on July 8, 2008 and July 10, 2008 why didnt you buy anything for Caylee?

9.   Casey, do you think it is normal for a mother to be out drinking and spending good times with friends if they had a child missing?   How is it you managed to have no upset, anxiety or concern on those occasions, one would naturally assume that someone enduring that anguish would be riddled with grief & worry, no?

10.   Casey, have you ever used chloroform for any reason?

That's off the top of my head in 2 seconds, o there is so much more

Hey ya Cookie!   Im doing great, and you?   I pop in and out & follow several cases very closely but life has me in a few directions, so Im juggling.  As patience wains waiting for justice,  I just wish I could take care of the likes of Casey, Misty and others with my own version of the people's justice HA!

JVM is going to discuss it shortly on HLN - as far as Im concerned all this news will do is make the defense team look even seedier than they are & whatever comes out of their mouth loses even more credibility, if that is even possible.  Why Bozo didnt dismiss Macadoodle from the case sooner with all his serious matters before the California bar is beyond my logical mind because its sheer lunacy!!   The moment these improprieties were apparent Bozo/Lyons should have formally made request for Mac to resign from the case (almost a year ago) - I said it from day one that the man wasnt anything to fear regardless of his previous civil law success record & that there was something about his temperament & conduct that would bite him in the arse...well I was way right on.    I hope he enjoys his plane while he still has it.   

I'll bet you donuts to dollars that the State and or JS were aware of Mac's suspension & questioned the defense as to why he was still technically on the case.    Note, one of the news articles quoted him stating that he spoke to Casey just last week.

No no no, Mr. minimizing attorney on JVM...Taking funds from the escrow account of a client is an absolutely no-no & a known act if done - doesnt matter the circumstances - and certainly NOT 200,000 worth!!   That and the fact that this attorney made some rather sizeable purchases within that time frame.

As far as Kronk's ex, the prosecution is going to shut this bitter woman down faster than she can say her name, trust me.

Attorney Steps Away From Casey Anthony Defense
Anthony's Defense Team Will Move On Without One Member

ORLANDO, Fla. --
Attorney Todd Macaluso has decided to step away from the Casey Anthony murder trial.

Macaluso is leaving Anthony's defense team to deal with disciplinary action he is facing from the California Bar Association.

The attorney said he regrets not being able to proceed in the case, but that Casey Anthony is in good hands with the rest of the current defense team.

Macaluso is best known to followers of the case against Casey for making the claim that the defense has significant evidence that someone placed Caylee's remains in the woods after her mother was locked up in the Orange County Jail.

Macaluso is accused of mishandling more than $200,000 from client trust accounts by the California Bar Association.

Prosecutors in Anthony's murder trial are preparing to travel to Knoxville, Tenn., to question Jill Kerley, the ex-wife of Roy Kronk. Kronk discovered Caylee Anthony's remains.
Kerley is undergoing chemotherapy and is too ill to travel.

Kerley was not under oath when she told the defense team's private investigator that Kronk restrained her with duct tape. Kronk strongly denied the allegation against him.

Kerley will speak under oath on Feb. 26.

Kronk claims he first saw the bag containing Caylee's remains in August of 2008.

The state attorney's office said there is more information in various digital formats that will be released on disc Tuesday.
