thanks trim.....in the photos of the tape and the knife..............I swear it looks like there is fiber on the knife....look starting at photo #5  ...........the duct tape in the pictures? I wonder if this is from the posters?

Morning nr!  I agree.....I think JB and AL have been at odds........AL wanting KC to go for a plea and JB wanting a trial..........I think AL is gaining more an more control not only over the case, but over KC.........Like you I have thought for a while now that something is definitely up!!

ORLANDO -- Pictures of evidence, a car seat, a syringe -- all are the latest photos and documents released by the state in their case against Casey Anthony.

But what do they mean? And how will the defense fight back?

Included in the three CD-ROMs released today are photos of a Gatorade bottle, syringe, brown liquid, toilet paper, and a baby doll that may have belonged to Caylee Anthony.
The disposable syringe set was discovered inside a Gatorade bottle near where Caylee's remains were found.

Documents released in the past have described the chemicals found inside the syringe.

A brown liquid, two cardboard rolls, a syringe and other pieces of debris were all found.

FBI test results showed the liquid in the containers was composed of chloroform and other elements.

Tests also showed that traces of chloroform were found in the syringe.

It's not know exactly where the bottle was found or how close to her remains.

The defense may argue the area near Hidden Oaks Elementary School is a heavily traveled and has nothing to do with the findings of Caylee's remains.

Other evidence photos include a trunk liner from Casey's car, a car seat, and stains on both that were analyzed.

There's more about how the media is doing it's own investigating in this case.

Specifically the duct tape - the state is examining media reports comparing the duct tape found on Caylee to the tape used to hang up missing posters before she was found.

There are also documents about the methods used by the FBI to analyze bones, teeth, and hair.

Hello Monkeys,

I don't post all that often but I certainly read everything.  After viewing the few pictures released up to this point in this latest doc dump I'm left to wonder if their is something significant about the stains on the car seat.  I reckon it could be nothing at all, just normal wear and tear but based on the number of pictures and the close up shots of the stains I am left to believe that there is a reason behind it.  Could these stains be evidence of death in the car seat? 

I, like so many others, have often speculated about various scenarios of what exactly Casey did to end Caylee's life.  One of the thoughts that crossed my mind some time ago was that Casey in a fury (after the alleged fight with Cindy) drove off with Caylee in tow.  Could Casey have used the lanyard (so much brew ha ha, concern over and secrecy about that thing!) to strangle Caylee while she was in her car seat?  Or... could those stains be a chemical agent that Casey used on Caylee while she was restrained in her car seat? 

I wonder if the car seat has been deconstructed and those stains analyzed?

hi Annette...I too was questioning the stains on the car seat. Wondering it they were just stains from a small child who probably spent a lot of time in it.....or something else

My thoughts are the stains are prob traces of cholorform.  And thie would be the hammer that nails Casey.  Why would her car seat have these traces if the Nanny had kidknapped Caylee? IMO

Or maybe body fluids showing with the UV testing, showing that Caylee died while in her car seat, and then transferred to the trunk?

Thanks I am. My question is with some of the stains on the trunk liner, since the car is older and Lee had it before Casey, some of the stains could have been there before hand, no?

Duct Tape, Trunk Liner Images Among Evidence Released

Newly released photos and documents in the case against Casey Anthony provided a closer look at some key pieces of evidence on Tuesday.

Some of the images were taken inside the trunk of Casey Anthony's car. Prosecutors said they believe Anthony drove around for days with Caylee Anthony's body inside the trunk. Prosecutors will apparently try to use the images to prove it.

The images of the trunk liner taken from Anthony's Pontiac showed a flaky substance and what look like small stains. Larger stains are visible on the back of the liner.

Using a process called laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, or LIBS, investigators from the University of Tennessee's Anthropological Research Facility concluded that the evidence from the trunk is consistent with a decompositional event of human origin.

Photographs showed samples sealed in a metal can that were sent to the facility for testing. While the findings were not conclusive, investigators said they're consistent with human decomposition.

Also in the evidence photos is a duct tape sample that was actually removed from Caylee's skull. Enlarged photos showed a knife with a strand of something sticking to it.

The photos were submitted to an FBI laboratory for testing, but the knife could not be linked to the duct tape.

More photos of the rare Henkel brand of duct tape found on Caylee's skull were also among the release evidence. The same type of tape was used by the Anthony family and volunteers to put up fliers of Caylee while she was still missing.

Could be, but it almost looks like a fiber from a dish towel.

In the first 70 pics that were posted first in pic number 19 you could clearly see the outline that the investigators were talking about. The one that looks like a body outline. It is the first time I could clearly see it.
My heart just breaks at what little Caylee had to endure in those last hours.
