Casey Anthony Charged With Murder In Daughter's Death

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Prosecutors on Tuesday released more information in the case of Casey Anthony, who is charged with killing her daughter, Caylee
The information, which potentially could be used as evidence, includes televised video that aired during the time when a search was being conducted for Caylee. The video shows Casey Anthony's brother, Lee Anthony, discussing the search.

Hundreds of images were also released, including photographs of duct tape. There was duct tape on the remains of Caylee when her body was discovered in a wooded lot near the Anthony family home, investigators said.

Casey Anthony, 23, remains jailed on a charge of first-degree murder in the death of Caylee.

Anthony has pleaded not guilty to that charge and claims a baby sitter kidnapped her daughter.

Caylee was last seen alive in June 2008, but she wasn't reported missing to authorities until a month later.

I don't post all that often but I certainly read everything.  After viewing the few pictures released up to this point in this latest doc dump I'm left to wonder if their is something significant about the stains on the car seat.  I reckon it could be nothing at all, just normal wear and tear but based on the number of pictures and the close up shots of the stains I am left to believe that there is a reason behind it.  Could these stains be evidence of death in the car seat? 

I, like so many others, have often speculated about various scenarios of what exactly Casey did to end Caylee's life.  One of the thoughts that crossed my mind some time ago was that Casey in a fury (after the alleged fight with Cindy) drove off with Caylee in tow.  Could Casey have used the lanyard (so much brew ha ha, concern over and secrecy about that thing!) to strangle Caylee while she was in her car seat?  Or... could those stains be a chemical agent that Casey used on Caylee while she was restrained in her car seat? 

I wonder if the car seat has been deconstructed and those stains analyzed?

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Images of a syringe, a Gatorade bottle, a car seat, the contents of a car's trunk and a kit used for testing chemicals are among the dozens of photos released by prosecutors in the case of a Florida mother charged with killing her toddler daughter.

Prosecutors trying the first-degree murder case of Casey Anthony released the photos Tuesday. The 23-year-old mother has pleaded not guilty and claims a baby sister kidnapped her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, in 2008.

Forensic testing revealed traces of chloroform in Casey Anthony's car. The chemical compound is used to induce unconsciousness and is also a component of human decomposition.

Caylee was last seen alive in early June 2008, but she wasn't reported missing to authorities until a month later.

hi Annette...I too was questioning the stains on the car seat. Wondering it they were just stains from a small child who probably spent a lot of time in it.....or something else

The spokeswoman for Casey Anthony's defense team has resigned.

Marti Mackenzie, who has spoken on behalf of defense attorney Jose Baez since February 2009, announced Tuesday she quit.

All media inquiries about Casey Anthony's defense are now to be directed to Liz Brown at the DePaul University College of Law Legal Clinic, where defense attorney Andrea Lyon works.

Reached by phone, Mackenzie declined to discuss the specifics about her resignation.

Mackenzie is no stranger to Central Florida lawyers and reporters. She has more than 20 years of experience in legal cases with high-profile defendants, including former astronaut Lisa Nowak.

Mackenzie was the second person to serve as spokesperson for Baez.

Baez's initial spokesman used an alias of "Todd Black."

Reporters were denied face-to-face interviews with "Black," who often ranted about news coverage in faxes sent to media outlets.

The company associated with "Todd Black," called Press Corps Media, eventually confirmed one of the people who called himself "Todd Black" was Gil Cabot.

Cabot was sentenced to five years in a California prison in 1990 after he was convicted of attempting to extort television journalist Jann Carl.

They are dropping like flies, and I believe this is hopefully coming to a conclusion, something appears to be up, maybe talking behind the scenes for a deal. Otherwise this is just going to go on and on, and all this nonsense needs to stop, so Caylee can finally get justice.

My thoughts are the stains are prob traces of cholorform.  And thie would be the hammer that nails Casey.  Why would her car seat have these traces if the Nanny had kidknapped Caylee? IMO

The pictures of the cardboard looking liner part that has a stain visible and the matching carpet piece (7 & 8 I think) are interesting. Can't tell if I just can't see the stain on the carpet or maybe someone had cleaned it.....hmm
