You can go to the bathroom the last hour of the flight only with an escort, I sure hope the escort stays on the other side of the bathroom door 

Well I would just have to wait another hour. I can't go with someone standing at the door.

Long story about not going to the bathroom on the plane, but I gotta run to go to dinner. I will tell it someday soon.

Have a great evening and see you in a bit. They are wanting to go the the hot springs tonight. I am not getting in a hot spring and getting back out in 12 degrees weather. 

Hot springs stink like rotten eggs, but they are so worth it! We went to one in Alaska which is used (geothermically) to power the whole resort. It was very very awesome! And yes, of course it was like 20 degrees and snowing, it was the best!!

Tevye we went there today and I swear I was in bed with Josef's butt facing me. No way am I getting in water that smells like it came from a 45 pound blue heeler's behind. We are pond skating tomorrow after my brother and his gf go on the hot air baloon. Hope they have fun, it is going to be about 25 degrees and God knows how cold it is up there. I think I will stay in bed until they are finished.

I am laughing so hard I am crying.  The bad egg smell comes from the sulphur if it is a sulphur hotspring.  Riley's butt smelled worse after he licked the  topping off the lemon slice the other night   

  Sulphur... hmmm that is what it is, I remember that from chemistry. Now I now Josef will never have a lemon slice ever. There were so many people in that water, running around like it was Hawaii, getting in and out and I was shivering. Then I saw that the water was 102 degrees. Way too hot for me.

Hey Green eyes, my eyes were turning red today smelling that water. Plus I forgot a swim suit, but they told us they would "rent" us one for 5 dollars. AFRAID not, I am NOT wearing a "rental" suit.

It was wonderful.  More food than I imagined.  One neighbour made sweet and sour turkey and rice, we also had left over ham, duck, cabbage rolls, pyrogies, stuffing, cornbread, sweet potatoes, a hodgepodge of veggies, fresh smoked sausage, buffalo meatballs, I baked buns and the desserts were outrageous.  Another neighbour brought over two large platters of home made chocolates and fudge that were way too good!

JSM the snow for Tuesday and Wed. is now rain and ice. Yuck that's even worse. Looks like I will be home for a couple more days.   

You are kidding? I have lived in Texas my whole life (minus a year in Oklahoma), but I cannot remember a winter like this. Please keep me posted because I was thinking about riding home with my brother and his gf on Wed or Thurs. If it is like it was Christmas, I will wait and go home with my parents.

WOW it sounds like a wonderful feast and every one had a great time.

Northern Rose how did you keep your toes warm? We are in the 20's and 30's and my toes are frozen even with shoes and socks. I hate wearing shoes as soon as it warms up until it gets cold I don't wear any unless I have to go to the store. Then it's sandles they are off as soon as I walk in the door.

It was a wonderful evening.  We all played Apples to Apples after and it was so much fun.  All the kids were downstairs playing rock band.  Riley was beside himself as there were too many people in the house but he got over it.  I got in my PJ's 10 seconds after the last neighbour left and not getting out of them till Tuesday. I will shovel snow in them tomorrow if I have to.

Yeah last year was cold, but not that cold or wet. I remember New Years I think 78 or 79 and it was basically the same sort of weather. It was horrible. I hope it doesn't get bad for you Greeneyes. Stay safe and warm. I feel guilty sometimes griping about 1 inch of ice/snow when Northern, Mission, Scarey, Brandi and Sassy get all that crappy weather. I did buy me these things you put on your shoes that are like snow chains for tires. That way I won't break my arse walking Josef the next time it sleets and he runs down the stairs and I slip down the steps.

I go barefoot all year.  Only time I wear socks is to go skating.  I even go sockless in my winter boots.  My mom was ready for me on Christmas eve, when I got to her house the first thing she did was hand me some hand knit slippers even before I took my boots off.
