The vet gave us pill pockets, but Zoe has irritable bowel and I was afraid that would upset her stomach. Peanut butter is a life saver, I swear you could put anything in peanut butter and she will eat it. JSM my dad use to have to put a pill down both of our doxie's throat like that, that was the only way pills could be given to them. They would spit out the pill no matter how you disguised it.

I've tried them, he eats around them then spits out the pill.  Monkey Devil! I was using vienna sausages, but he caught onto those as well. Now I do the ninja shove down the throat and it works the best.

I'm sorry cookie, I dont know what I would do in that situation. I think I would probably be institutionalized if I had to make that decision.

Hi Monkeys - I am officially 100% ready for Christmas - everything is wrapped and under the tree, cards are done and I got a head start with snacks made and in the freezer. Sloppy joes are made for work tomorrow and I dressed up my bottle of wine for the wine exchange. I have tomorrow and half of Tuesday left of work until I am on vacation for a whopping 12 days....Life is good.

I made Darla's chicken divan for dinner tonight and it was fantabulous I would recommend you visit the Christmas recipe thread and make it - wonderful - I served it over noodles with hot biscuits and it was a hit.  I need to catch up but in the meantime I hope everyone had a good Sunday is doing well.

I just made cinnamon rolls the other day...yummy!!! I love all the food this time of year, well, really any time of year! luckily I have a fast metabolism! otherwise I would be over weight!

You're SOOOOOO lucky to have a fast metabolism!!  I gain weight just sitting here reading about all these yummies!!

No doubt about it the food is so good this time of year and it feels as though anything that touches you lips lands on your hips.

I love sloppy joes also  Mission we have egg nog here, believe me, over the last couple weeks I have over indulged. Christian Brothers Egg Nog Brandy, we can't seem to find here anymore. Just looked through the ads in the Sunday paper, I should have known better, now a trip to Old Navy is in store, another store that drives me crazy, but they have some nice sales
Ok well I would have sent you some if egg nog was out of the question no one should be with out it at Christmas - good luck at Old Navy they do have good sales and the quality is good too.  Ok monks I am over and out need to get my rear in gear - have a great day and I will see you later.

You have a great day, the way I'm drinking egg nog, I may have to have you send me some  I love the pumpkin spice flavor
pumpkin spice egg nog that sounds yummy

Speaking of pumpkin spice ... sister sent us a Christmas gift (it was shipped directly from us from the store) and said Open Immediately. Inside was an assortment of English muffins and toppings. Some of the flavors were pumpkin spice (absolutely wonderful!) maple almond, sour dough and cinnamon raisin. They were from Wolferman's ... I recommend them! www.wolfermans.com

Delish!
Oh Brandi we get a package sent to us from some friends every year from Wolfermans to - fantastic english muffins and the choke cherry jam is out of this world.

Long time ago we lived by this guy that obsessed with his car, every two weeks the front seats came out so he could clean the car and seats, I use to watch him in amazement

That's a bit over the top, IMO!   And every two weeks?  Dang!

Need someone like that to take care of my car!  Heck, even once a year would be an improvement.

I read somewhere that during job interviews, sometimes another employee is outside peeking into the prospective employees car, to get an idea of how organized etc that person is.  <gulp>

OMG I would be in serious trouble my vehicle is always a mess which is unlike my house - my husband says he can't understand how it is I am washing floors and cleaning all the time can have a vehicle that is so messy

Well I have to cut my hair, which should have been done last weekend, but I made and excuse, so I didn't wash my hair this morning, to make me go get it cut, and then to the store.  See you all later.
You mean you are going to cut your own hair?

I cut my own hair.  I only get it professionally cut maybe once every 2 years.

I'm so sorry about what happened to Schnitzie   an angelic monkey                        I decided to go to the hair cutting place where my husband and daughter goes, instead of the one I usually go to. I noticed they hadn't opened yet, and was playing around in my purse, when I heard a woman in a white car screaming into her cell phone. I got out of the car and heard her say, well I can't write here what I heard her say, and then she got out and was screaming about you already have spent 3 thousand dollars on gambling. I looked over to her, because I then thought she was talking to me. And wouldn't you know it, I walked up to the hair place, and the same woman opened the door to the place, much to my dismay. I thought, what do I do know, leave or walk into the Little Shop of Horrors with her  I went in. Nobody else came in, it was just her and me. I kept praying she wasn't going to go off, and I would leave with part of my ear missing or worse. After I left, I came home and rewashed my hair, and she actually did a good job  I'm afraid to even venture to the stores now.
::MonkeyShocked::Ok well that answers my question about you cutting your own hair but whoa am I ever glad everything turned out ok.

Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.

She was 32.

A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.

We're told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Murphy starred in such films as "Clueless," "8 Mile," and "Don't Say a Word."

Holy cats and she was only 32?  Cardiac Arrest - this makes me very sad.
