Northern, what are you cooking us today?  I'm still so tired from Christmas, not doing anything.

I am thinking chili.  Second oldest is getting his wisdoms pulled today and refusing to be put out for it.  He is going to need soft food.

I must be living in a cocoon or something. I had no idea what ScareyCarrie meant when she said "tagged."

I must be getting old.

Hi Brandi, I never heard that before either, maybe it's local to Florida what they call graffiti.

Around here we don't see that on fences but for years someone very talented has been painting huge murals on the sides of railroad cars.  Not gang stuff that I know of, very pretty, almost looks spray painted on.

I live on the way other side of the united states...not florida

Hi Northern Rose!

Soft food yes, but non-spicy food as well. Just a FYI.

And make sure he rinses often and gently with salt water. It really does aid the healing process!

Nope, I got it at the American Cancer Society's office here in town. They have TONS of them...brand new, real human hair, made by Pantene and FREE! And if I want more, I can get them. I'm still thinking about the whole strawberry blonde curly thing.....

Hahaha! You go girl!!!

Very cool about the ACS wig program. Makes me consider a donation! Thanks for telling us about it!

Hi BG:

Apparently is it us old ladies living in the dark. LOL

Tag: a personal signature, usually vandalism with spraypaint, but can be any graffitti.

From: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=tag

lol  It's nice in the dark sometimes.

The paintings on the railroad cars are really something, huge, looks like a professional artist, can't imagine how they do that with spray paint, or the time it takes to do it.

Some graffiti is so beautiful!

I always thought if the graffiti artists used their talent in a legal way, we'd all come out winners. Sort of the same way I feel about crackers. If only they used their abilities legitimately. But I guess we'll always have bored kids with talent not knowing the best way to use it.

Crackers are the bad hackers. Those who break into networks or computer systems for malicious reasons. Often they are not very good hackers. But they do have enough knowledge to be destructive.

Oh my, he is brave to do that  I was knocked out with gas for that, and after it was over thought that wasn't too bad, until everything wore of. I will pray it goes well and he doesn't get an infection.

i wonder how much you have to have to donate? i wanted to donate my 10" i cut off and was told it had to be 12"

Well, I was talking about monetary donations for myself to donate. I asked about donating my hair when I had a LOT cut off, and was told they do not accept hair with grey in it. I also heard 12" or longer.

*sigh*

yikes, how many is he getting pulled?  Both my boys were in horrible pain after they had theirs out, and couldn't eat solid food at all.  All they wanted was real thick homemade malts, and used a straw not to drink out of, but to put the malt on the back of their tongue. Was a couple of days before they even wanted to eat.

My best friend here before she moved, I use to take care of her dog Brandi when she would go visit her daughter, a very lovely dog. She was very ill and she had to put her down. She couldn't afford to cremate her and bring the ashes home and had to leave her there. She did not have a backyard where she could have buried her, she was in the process of selling her home
That is sad.  The vets do have you by the wallet that is for sure - when our German Shepherd died they charged us 480.00 to do an xray, a shot of pain med and send us down the road 30 miles to the pet hospital for surgery.  He died on the way to the hospital - 480.00 and no dog, it was hell.
I'm sorry Mission. That is so very sad.

How cute.  Wish my GD was here to see, she loves looking at all the avatars, especially the ones with the animals.  I won't see her for 7 more days.   Sad
