Wow Darla you all have had alot of rain and cold this year.  Stay in and stay warm that kind of weather does indeed make the bones ache all over. 





No such luck Mission, It is raining again tonight and 34 degrees. . My old bones are aching.

We have had over 56 inches this year. At least it got us off water restrictions that we had been on for 3 yrs. Suppose to be down in the teens before the weekend.

Hey Lovin I am here, but going to bed. My internet is sporatic here. When everyone gets to their condo's then it is really slow. I have to go to bed and get up to ride a train. I am so excited. NOT!! I wanted to go skiing. Oh well that is life. No biggy. I am trying to not rock the boat. If you don't hear from me in a few days, make a thread. 

Try and enjoy the beautiful earth around you tomorrow. Catch you another day.

Pulled Pork

2 1/2 pork shoulder roast
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
2 cups ketchup
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

Cut roast lengthwise to split it into two or three pieces depending on how big your crockpot is so that the pork fits and covers most of the bottom. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a bowl then pour over the meat.  Cook on Low, stirring occasionally, for 6 to 8 hours or until the meat is tender.  Shred meat with a fork and serve on buns.

I forgot to say COVER the crockpot with lid and cook for 6 to 8 hours on low stirring occasionally.

Woo hoo! microscopes, Harry Potter,and noisemakers....I'll spend most of tomorrow in bed so I'm rested up for them. and I'm gonna turn off the darn phone! Everyone keeps calling to see how i'm doing...so I can't sleep. I mean, I know they care...but couldn't my family just do a phone tree??
