Sweet Coleslaw

1 small cabbage cored and sliced thinly
1 carrot shredded coarsely
or
1 - 16 oz bag coleslaw mix

2 tablespoons very finely diced onion
2/3 cup mayo
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp celery seeds

Mix cabbage, carrot and onion in a large bowl.  Mix rest of ingredients together in a small bowl and then pour over cabbage.  Toss to coat.  MUST CHILL FOR AT LEAST 2 HOURS before serving.

The snow is beautiful.  It's when it goes on & on and the skies are gray everyday for a month straight that get to me. 

Thanks for the compliments on bubba.  He is truely my angel.  I could have not hand picked a better child.  I am truely blessed.

  Gotta get up early early in the morning. Night monkeys and get some good sleep. Tomorrow is New Years Eve and I will have to go to bed early as well because we are leaving tomorrow. I can't wait to leave and hopefully we will eat in one of Northern's Santa Fe diners. I love food.

I left my son who had his wisdoms pulled yesterday alone as he is miserable.  I did leave lots of liquids around him in case he wanted some and made him turkey broth.

Let the snow blower drag me around for the better part of an hour. 

When I came in my internet was down so made a batch of summer sausage for snacking on tomorrow.

I am beat but happy that we have fresh sausage tomorrow.

I hope you are feeling better today.
