Well, I'm just having hot dogs and Ripple
I'll hit that!!

What is ripple?
It's like whino wine....the lowest of the low shelf stuff. I don't even know if they make it any more!@ Monkey Devil!

Hi Tevye  Hope you're feeling better today.  Yes, I was able to acquire a great vintage Ripple, I think it was made last week, to serve to my guests in my wine cellar.  OK, it isn't a wine cellar.  It's just a hole somebody dug by the road, but it serves.
Hope you have a lot of paper cups to serve it in, or just chug from the bottle

Do you mean I'm supposed to use paper cups?  Oh dear.
That is funny Baby. Slug it out of the bottle, just remember to keep your pinkie finger up and you will be lady like.

My mom is going to freak out when she sees the jug of beer I bought for my BGF. It is from the brewery here and looks just like a moonshine jug. Plus it is refillable.

JSM That was so great of your mom.  Obviously she sacrificed a lot for this trip and I think she loves you a lot. Your step-dad sound like a terrific guy, too.
I hope you have a safe trip home and a good time with your family on the way.
Yeah, what Baby said! I bet, in the end, you'll remember the trip fondly. I want to hear about the train ride.

How funny JSM, we have a moonshine looking jug of beer called Mississippi Mud, when we sucked that down, I made a slit in the cap and it is now a coin bank

Evening Monkeys. Hope you guys had a good day. We rode the train all day, we get back and my brother got sick as soon as we got out of the car. Now I am feeling nauseous myself. I think he got car sick, and mine is psychosymatic.

Anyways, I hope y'all have a great New Years Eve tonight. I have packed everything but what is in the fridge. I think whomever cleans this room is going to have a feast of tv dinners, taquitos and frozen burritos. I'm taking my chips and Little Debbies home with me.
Oh no, I sure hope your brother and you feel better  an angelic monkey Are you leaving to go home soon?
Thanks No Rose. We are leaving at 8 am stopping so I can go to Mass in Santa Fe, then will probably be home by midnite tomorrow. I can't wait to get home.

My stepdad told me tonight that my mom (works part time for her brother) saved up and paid for the whole trip. I am glad I stayed the whole trip instead of booking out on a plane when my brother, his gf and I got in a fight. We all had a good time today until he got sick in the parking lot.
That was very kind of your mom, and I'm sure a lot of memories were made with this family trip. Have a safe trip home  an angelic monkey
It was and it was fun. Thanks I pray we have a safe trip too!  an angelic monkey

Baby, obviously these people don't know their Ripple! It's always served in a PAPER BAG!  Gosh, where is Fred Sandford when you need him?

Paper bags are what I always thought were correct, but if you folks think I should be more up-town and get some Dixie cups, I'll see if Walgreen's is open.  Might have to get those little cups like you use in the bathroom, but I want to be correct.

Tevye is right, paper bag, we were incorrect drinking out of paper cups, but the chugging part we just didn't use a paper bag to hide the bottle. Same with Boone's Farm wine we forgot the paper bag

Baby I didn't know she did this until my stepdad told my step brother who paid for the trip. I think it was because stepbrother told his dad thanks for the trip and stepdad made sure stepbrother knew my mom was the one that saved her money for the trip. Anyways it was great and even though I didn't get to ski. I got to skate on a pond and that is best time I had the whole trip!

Listen missy, I was trying to post and something screwed up about your temp. You need to call the doctor if it goes up any higher. I am not a doctor, but would love to play one on tv.  I will post a few train pics in a bit. This internet is sooo sloooowww. I remember last year when Red let us run loose in the cage. That was a hoot. It was the best New Year's Eve I have ever had!!!

Okay, I am going to post pics, give me a minute. Just a few. Don't want to bore y'all

I'd love to see a pic of you on that pond.  I have two left feet and would fall on my fat arse if I tried to even put ice skates on.  The only time I tried to roller skate, I broke my right arm.  But I'm good at sitting by the fire apres skiing.  Have a safe trip home  We've missed you.

Yeah, but with Boone's you don't want to hide the label.  You want people to know you're serving the classy stuff.

Popped back in to see if JSM was back.  Glad to hear you had a good trip.  Sorry your brother is sick.  Maybe he ate something that did not agree with him in the altitude?  I have little bathroom cups with seashells as the motif if you guys want to borrow them for the wine.

Going out in a bit now that the Moon has moved to get some pics of the northern lights.

Tye please keep an eye on your temp.

I remember when I was young my boss and I went out and got some Boones - it was winter and all they had was warm stuff - so we bungie corded it to the front of the car for the trip back. Only bad thing was we got stopped by the cops on the way back and I was half in the bag and under age. Good thing we live in the boondocks!  But the booze was cold when we got back to work!  Ah the good old days!

Okay here you go with some pics, we rode two something hours up a mountain and stopped for 45 minutes then went back down. It was cold as crap in the heated car, but I sucked it up to go and take pictures in the open window car.

Here are a few that I took...

... train going around a curve.

... train at the stop and turn around.

... man in my way close to the rocks.

Sorry it has taken so long to post Tevye and my monkey friends.  an angelic monkey
