JSM That was so great of your mom.  Obviously she sacrificed a lot for this trip and I think she loves you a lot. Your step-dad sound like a terrific guy, too. 
I hope you have a safe trip home and a good time with your family on the way. 

Baby I didn't know she did this until my stepdad told my step brother who paid for the trip. I think it was because stepbrother told his dad thanks for the trip and stepdad made sure stepbrother knew my mom was the one that saved her money for the trip. Anyways it was great and even though I didn't get to ski. I got to skate on a pond and that is best time I had the whole trip! 

I'd love to see a pic of you on that pond.  I have two left feet and would fall on my fat arse if I tried to even put ice skates on.  The only time I tried to roller skate, I broke my right arm.  But I'm good at sitting by the fire apres skiing.  Have a safe trip home  We've missed you.

Oh Baby I have two left feet as well. I cannot roller skate or roller blade. I have missed y'all.

Popped back in to see if JSM was back.  Glad to hear you had a good trip.  Sorry your brother is sick.  Maybe he ate something that did not agree with him in the altitude?  I have little bathroom cups with seashells as the motif if you guys want to borrow them for the wine.

Going out in a bit now that the Moon has moved to get some pics of the northern lights.

Northern, I bet the moon is beautiful there, it is gorgeous here. They are having a midnight cross country ski thing tonight. If we weren't leaving tommorow, I would have gone with our guide tonight. Plus he was cute. My mom had some medicine for him, so he feels a bit better. I think it was the hot dog he ate on the way back. I had one for breakfast and it didn't bother me at all. I think really he got motion sick because the train rocked back and forth.

Those pics are absolutely beautiful.  What a ride!!!! Love the one of you on the pond, too.  And whoever said this is a trip you will always remember is right.  There were the hassles that any family has, but basically, I think you will look back on it as great.  And the fact that your mom saved from her work, even though her hubby is a doctor is very touching to me.

I'm gonna have to leave the Ripple and the good company.  Leaving for Gatlinburg where they have a great fireworks show at midnight.  It's only about 7 miles, but the roads are mobbed and it'll take an hour probably.

It really was pretty. The elk and deer on the way back home really scared me because they were all over the sides of the road. I was so worried we would hit one. I loved Durango, there were so many people walking their dogs. Made me miss Josef even more.

Thanks Northern, they are not as good as pics you take, but I was pretty impressed with my crappy camera today. My cousin was at the back of the train and sat on a chair and videoed the ride all the way back. He has a super duper video camera so I am sure it will be beautiful. Hopefully he will youtube some of it. If so, I will post a link.

Thank you Baby. It was a ride and I wasn't scared a bit. Thanks for looking at my pics. I didn't want to bore you monkeys with silly pics. It is very touching to me my mom saved all her earnings to let us have this vacation. I feel guilty I didn't spend much of the wad of cash they gave us. She was so excited when she gave it to us on Christmas. Now I know why.

We were looking at the moon on the ride home from dinner and my stepbrother (King Noitall) said he has never seen the man in the moon. I told him I had never seen the man in the moon, but I have seen the bunny in the moon. No one in the car had ever seen the rabbit in the moon, but once I told them they saw it.

Sorry rambling tonight. I better go to bed soon.

I love it with sugar and milk, but will drink it black at work.
