Happy New Year zoeandme  Hope all is well 

Doing good so far.  Hope this year and new decade is a vast improvement from the last one!  But I do see hope of that coming tru already....fingers crossed!  I get to move back to Florida (Pt St Lucie area) at the end of the month after living in the Charlotte area for over 5 years.  So I'm excited!   

Good for you moving somewhere warm Zoe!! I just put a log on the fireplace. I hate winter.

Thanks JSM.  My husband is alrady there and starts his new job on Monday so I'll be packing up all month.  Not much to do, we just have a 1 bedroom apt.  By the way, that is the cutest picture of Josef!   I love it!

Packing isn't fun, but getting there will be well worth it. Thanks for the saying Josef looks cute, Brandi works miracles with Josef.

No... quite the contrary... I remembered a lot of good things and times.  I can't remember what med the dr had Heide on for her arthritis.  I have it now as well and really nothing helps it much for me.

Every time I see Josef's shoes in the avatar, it reminds me of a pair of Dr. Martens I use to own 

I just noticed they look like Doc Martens. 

I used to wish I had a pair of Doc Martens.  When I went to England, everyone was wearing them.  I felt so out of place wearing "trainers", which is Brit for sneakers.

  My first time in England, the kids told us they liked our trainers, my friend was so confused about what they were talking about I told her they like her sneakers. Doc Martens are too heavy for my knees. Supposedly great for feet, but not for knees.

You got that right!  Maybe 10 years ago I'd have loved wearing them. But not now w/ my bad knees!

They killed my knees because they were so heavy. I am not a shoe person, but I love my Uggs even though they are stretched out and I had to put insoles in them. I bought a pair of waterproof boots this week and they killed my feet. Bought them just to sled in, guess they are going to the Goodwill or giving them to my friend.

Glad to know I didn't make you sad. I have had arthritis in my knees since I was in my late 20's. Too much sports when I was growing up

I agree, you look quite pretty yourself    I have arthritis also, in my back and down my right leg, everything on my right side, oh well, you are right not a whole lot you can do, I just keep moving which helps, if I stayed in one place for too long, well that is not good. I'm going to drag my body into bed now, going to watch CSI Miami, and then Bones, which I'm sure I will fall asleep and miss part of it  See you all in the morning.

Awwww, NRCG's hat is too lovely to hang a tag from.  Minnie Pearl and her "Howdyyyyyyyyyyyyyy" was pretty funny, though.  But her hat wasn't as pretty as NRCG's even with the price tag as bling
