Rheumatoid arthritis is horrible, the way it cripples up the fingers. Why is it that some of us inherit all the bad things that our family has had? I'm waiting for my bladder to go, my mom and grandma both had some kind of surgery because of lack of bladder control.

The bladder control problems just come from old age Rose. Lol. You know the time when everything goes south on you. I had mine tacked up when I had my Hysterectomy but it has fallen again. And when the urge hits I have to run to make it in time.

Isn't getting old fun. I had the same thing and it lasted about three years. I know where every rest room is at all the stores. 

My best friends mother who is 81 and a real hoot said once that she did not understand what the Golden Years meant - she said whoever came up with that can kiss my butt 

OMG... LOL LOL LOL.... I am still a ways from 81 but I sure have to agree with her! 

Isnt that funny?  She is such an active 81 year old too she has been saying that for years and when I was young I thought she was just being funny but now unfortunately I am beginning to understand what she meant.

U.S. to Capture Cow Farts to Save the Planet

In the future, America will harness cow farts to curb pollution and power the grid. What? It sounds like a joke, but it's actually a real promise. By 2020, dairy industry emissions will be reduced by 25%, largely by persuading dairy farmers to capture methane gas, U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced at the Copenhagen climate change summit this week. Farmers will be able to buy anaerobic digesters that convert cow, errr, emissions into electricity.

Sorry I am behind and it has probably already been answered. Minor in possession.

MIP is a relatively new crime. Prior to about 1990, all minors were considered to be "in possession" if it was after 9 pm in my little town. There wasn't anything else to do! And since we were all town kids at the time, there wasn't too much driving going on. And, we only had one cop who came to town once a week. So, we were "possessed" regularly. However, John Law soon lost his sense of humor (there was that whole phone booth tipped over and outhouse dragged thru town and parked in the only big intersection we had incident), and they made it a crime to be drunk under 18. By that time, I WAS 18, so I didn't care!!

Did you know that ringing the doorbell and running away is now called "disturbing the peace"? As is hiding behind the bushes and yowling like a coyote.

Also, doing donuts in someone's yard is "malicious destruction of property". Cutting down a Christmas tree from someone else's property, same thing. Pouring oil on the road and squealing out so your tires squeal, same thing.

Having a couple of toddies and riding the golf cart to your friends house around the corner...."drunk driving".

Driving an Army deuce and a half thru town backwards...."reckless driving". Same thing for driving the parent's station wagon thru town in reverse on Christmas Eve. (Stupid cop, it wasn't his night to be in town!!)

All that being said, it's a wonder I'm not doing life in the big house for just "having fun"!

And I'm sure our favorite thing doing Firedrills at the stop sign and driving the people crazy behind us, is considered a crime. And also pretending to ice skate on the river while drinking before going to a school dance. And throwing stale donuts in the slot at the drive thru at the bank, and throwing marshmallows at cars driving by in the park, one guy got out and chased us through the woods. And flashing the headlights at couples parked in the parking lot at the beach, to see what kind of reaction we would get. I wonder why we both aren't in the big house for having fun
