My 11 month old grandson is in the hospital with rsv and pneumonia today.  I am out of the chatting mode right now.  Please pray for him.

My thoughts and prayers are with him and your entire family

JSM, I hope Joe gets to feeling better. Was he like this before you left? If not he may just be pouting with you. My sister has a dog that will pout and not eat if she leaves her for a few days. They are like little kids. That could be all it is, he is just upset that you left him so long.

Sometimes I hate this laptop.

Thanks Darla, he wasn't like this before I left and it has me worried. He didn't want to go down the stairs tonight. He acts like it hurts to get his butt up off the floor. He did try to kill the Lab that was off the leash while we were outside. So that makes me feel better, he is back to being evil.

I also noticed that if I touch him on his right side, he flinches. He doesn't do it on his left side. His vet will be there tomorrow, so hopefully he will look at Joe after he does surgery. 

I hate to mention this, but could something have happened to Joe while he was at doggy daycare? Watch and see how he reacts to the people there tomorrow....

Tevye I thought that also, and that is a good idea to watch Josef's reactions around the people.

JSM, I would talk to the vet about Josef having arthritis. We didn't know that Zoe had it, and not only was she having trouble jumping on the couch to sleep, she was getting very crabby and snapping at us. Once we started giving her the prescription and the over the counter pills, she was more herself, and has no trouble jumping on the couch or bed now.

I am so glad Zoe has responded to the arthritis medicine so well, no rose!

I had an old dog years ago who became arthritic and she was given a "new" arthritis medicine and she got a lot of relief from it as well.

We thought Brandi might be getting arthritic earlier this year, but her apparent difficulty jumping on the bed and occasional whine at who-knows-what, disappeared after a few days. But not before I made a vet appointment for her. Of course, when we went to the vet, she was fine. Always a good idea to keep an eye out for that though. Brandi just turned 10.

So JSM ... Josef might not be experiencing arthritic symptoms. He may be just fine in a few days. At least I sure hope so.

Just like a kid you take them to a doctor, and they stop coughing or whatever, and the doctor looks at you like you are nuts

Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.  My grandson is feeling better even though his oxygen levels keep dipping down to 92 and back up to 100.  He is currently on an iv, taking breathing treatments and on oxygen when they can get him to keep the mask on his face.  If he is to remain in the hospital tomorrow, I will be driving out to get my granddaughter to care for until he is well.

I'm glad to hear that                                Tevye glad you got your new tv, I can't even think about the installation angle after what we went through a week ago

ha ha! my day will be coming for hubs to retire...fortunately he is a putterer...he can and does spend hours in his garage, changing things around, fixing this or that...he is johnny on the spot if something doesn't work..the minute a light bulb goes out at our home, he has to change it right away! not me, as long as there are other lights, I would be fine...lol...So, I hope that he stays busy once he does retire....that won't be for a few years we hope...

This morning got everyone up and ready for school, breakfast all without any problems. Got ready to go out and start the car to warm it up as it was in the 20's last night. Couldn't find my keys any where. Looked every where called daughter at work asking her to check her purse no keys. It is getting later and later. So hubs goes out and warms up his truck so I can get the kids to school. Go to the closet to get my coat and guess what I found. It was like darn it.  I left them in there when I got back from the store Sat.  I felt like such a dumb butt.

Oh, we (I) didn't have any problems hooking it up, it was just that shadow over my shoulder asking "Are you sure? Why are you doing that?" that was so aggravating! Now I just have to program the remote...fun fun fun!
