Good Evening Monkeys.....Well so much for staying in Pj's all day. Forgot my Mom had a drs. Appt this afternoon.
It is just so frickin cold I hate to even open a door here. We just aren't use to these kinds of temps. Hope everyone has had a decent day.

I know.It was 17 here this morning and this weekend it will be like 10ish.
Brrrr.I hope you are staying warm.   

  I never would think that temperatures got like that in the south, only good thing it doesn't last like it does in other areas, at least I don't think so

I have supper ready and now my husband is again trying to get a hold of ATandT, over our phone bill, the first lady said to him, I feel you are getting irate, wonder how much she gets paid to figure that out.  So now he is on hold again, trying to get someone to help. This should take all night 

Oh no.   

No Rose, you should give him some Ambien. By the time he's done with them, you guys will have free phone service for life!

He was calm on the second call, which was shocking, because they couldn't give him a straight answer about the charge. My daughter put this on our phone some kind of voice mail on our landline phone, we have an answering machine. My husband is waiting for her to get home to find out why she did this. The only thing we can think is she thought it was for her phone. She seldom uses the home phone. Should get interesting before the night is over

What the heck is wrong with this site for the past couple of days?!?! It is getting so frustrating trying to post and keep up with threads! Grrrrrr.

Yeah,we don't get the real cold weather here.Darn Global Warming.   
We may get snow Thursday.I am going to the store in the morning and beat the rush.    All the milk and bread will be gone.It is hilarious.

They do that here too! Everybody mad rushes to the grocery store and it's like a mob!  Not Me! I bought my son a 4WD when he graduated from college, and when I laid the keys in his hand, I said, "Honey, this is the last vehicle from Mom you'll ever have, so take good care of it." He can't stand the thought of payments, so I just whistle, and he comes and gets me in it! 

I admit, I had ulterior motives!   

I'd like to see ole' Al put his tongue on my mailbox right now! 

What a nice mom you are CBB, ulterior motives or not. 

As for Mr Gore, I would like to see something else stuck to a cold mailbox or lamp post right about now.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm blessed and undeserving, but my son has never given me a moments trouble. I don't know what it is to wonder if he was out drinking or drugging, and he's a genuinely nice, caring person. As I said, I can't take credit, but am grateful for the blessing. I would have moved heaven and earth to be able to give him that car. We had been through some financial struggles, and he had to give up his campus apartment and his out of State tuition and commute from home the last year and a half of college. It pleased me as much as it did him.

State board accuses octuplet doctor of negligence

LOS ANGELES - The California Medical Board is accusing a fertility doctor of negligence and violating professional guidelines in the case of a woman who conceived octuplets.

The state licensing body said Monday that Beverly Hills fertility doctor Michael Kamrava acted beyond the reasonable judgment of a treating physician by repeatedly providing fertility treatment to a woman identified only by her initials "N.S" in the documents.

Nadya Suleman previously identified Kamrava as her doctor. The documents say his patient became pregnant with octuplets.

Suleman gave birth to the world's longest living set of octuplets on Jan. 26, 2008. She already had six other children.

No hearing date has been set on the medical board case.

  Good for the MB, I guess if she hadn't made the news, he would have never been turned in.

My favorite thing to read is our TMB newsletter that tells the cases that have gone before the board. Some are really entertaining and others are down right creepy. In Texas you can go on the website and see if your doctor has ever been brought before the board, if so you can read all documents

That's great that you gave him such a great present and he is a good kid. I have a nephew like that, kind, caring and considerate. Sorry about the financial struggles, at least he finished his education. That is the most important thing.

My sister just went at it with AT&T also.Bogus charges added to her bill.They told her there had been a lot of complaints the last couple of months.
She even had some diet plan charged to her bill.I laughed my a** off.she told them if they saw a photo of her they would know that was horse sh**!

  I have AT&T and never look at my bill. I just pay it because it is usually the same every month. At least your sister has a very good sense of humor. I guess I will pay attention to my bill from now on.

That is crazy 15 bucks for voicemail on a landline phone. I wonder if I pay for that too? I have an answering machine, wouldn't even know how to use voicemail.  I guess when I get my Uverse I will have to change my whole plan for internet, home phone and cable.
