JSM  Is Josef's eye better tonight?

When we were teenagers a mob of us would meet at the school on Halloween. Then walk all over town. Some of the guys would gather up dog poop, put it a paper bags. Put it on peoples porches and light it. Then ring the doorbell or knock. First instinct is to stomp out the fire. hehe

I was laughing and told my husband this, and he goes, come on you never tried that before, him and his friends use to do that also. And then proceeded to tell me the story how one night they tried to take the giant Colonel Sanders statue that use to be in front of KFC 

We put cow poo in a bag then the bag in a shoe box and put it in the mailbox of someone we didn't like, lol. That was on a Halloween many moons ago. The same night we stole a huge Jack-o-Lantern and (there were 4 of us) took it to the town square...one guy climbed up on anothers shoulders then climbed to the top of the Statue of the man in the square and plopped the Jack-o-Lantern upside down on the head of the man  true story, lol.

How is Josef's eye today, JSM? 

Hi Muffy, just got back from taking him outside. His cornea isn't scratched (good thing) but the vet didn't know what caused it. He said it wasn't a cold or infection because that would effect both eyes, so most likely either a bee stung him or he poked his eye when he was trying to find a cat in the holly bushes.  Thanks for asking, he has ointment and it still looks bad, but nothing like it did this morning. He looked like Popeye the Sailor man.

JSM  Is Josef's eye better tonight?

It's getting there, not as much goopy gunk coming out tonight. He has ointment that I have to put in the morning and they will do it two times while he is at school and I do it when I get home. It still looks horrible to me though. He acts like nothing is wrong though. If I hadn't noticed the goop in his eye yesterday, I wouldn't have thought anything was wrong with him. He has droopy dog eye now.

    You and Tevye and Darla were all so creative, my friends and I couldn't have come up with some of those ideas if we would have sat for a day in a locked room and were told to think real hard.  Most of our spur of the moment escapades were alcohol inspired

I'm glad Josef is on the mend with his eye, I'll bet money sticking his head in the bushes caused that  Zoe can't keep her head out of the bushes, I try real hard, but if she sees a lizard away she goes

  That is funny Nut, I wish I had done things like that when I was young.

 I think I learned my lesson as a kid, my parents told us NEVER EVER go by this one guy's apartment door. I was probably six at the time, was dared to knock on his door and didn't do it. My parents found out that I walked up to his door and I got the whooping from H*ll. IDK if he was a child molestor or what, but now that I think about it, he probably was one and my parents didn't tell us why we couldn't go by his apartment.

Josef wouldn't blink an eye at a lizard, but a cat he would go for in a minute. I tried taking a picture of his eye, but he wouldn't let me. He is embarrased he looks so goofy.

Bless his heart last night he couldn't see to jump on the bed and he was half on and half off and could figure out how to get on the bed. He looked like he was trying to swim. Sleep well and see y'all in the morning. Another long day at work, but tomorrow I hope I get a break to spend some time catching up.

Silly! You just stand on the other side of the garage, on your own property! Nowadays, we have coyotes all over the place, nobody would even notice. (It helps if you don't giggle, tho!)

I always had this innocent look.  I was so sweet that sugar tasted sour when I was around.  One Halloween, I stole a latern off a hole in the street and someone fell in the hole.  He wasn't hurt, but he was really mad.  No body ever suspected me.  I was too sweet.

Now I'm old and don't look so innocent anymore, but people think I'm cute.  Whatever I say they think it's cute.  They don't know that underneath this old, cute exterior lurks a devious 16 year old.
