I am glad that Josef's eye is doing better...
let's see...so many other things to mention!
anyways, sounds like everyone is pretty well squared away for Christmas...
I still need to get groceries...probably will wait till Wednesday now...plans for tomorrow...sigh...fun things tomorrow though ...talk with all of you tomorrow...xxxx pleasant dreams!

When we were teenagers a mob of us would meet at the school on Halloween. Then walk all over town. Some of the guys would gather up dog poop, put it a paper bags. Put it on peoples porches and light it. Then ring the doorbell or knock. First instinct is to stomp out the fire. hehe
I hate to admit to this because I was a grown up when we did this. My daughter was about 12 and some friend of hers had told her what they did one year. They scooped up some dog poo and wrapped it up like a present and left in on the road, like it had fallen out of a moving vehicle. Waited in the bushes and just howled as a lucky man or so he thought picked it up.
We had a dog, we had poo, we had warapping paper. So, we did it !
Put it on the road, a nicely wrapped present. Sat in the house peeking out of the drapes and someone stopped and took it in their vehicle. Less than thirty seconds later, the parcel came flying at thethe speed of light out of that car. We howled for hours ! My Dad was there, he had to have been  + 60 by then, he howled the most. Oh, we were a classy bunch. My Mum was mortifed as she truly had some class, not like us.Thanks for the laffs. I needed it tonight.

I was laughing and told my husband this, and he goes, come on you never tried that before, him and his friends use to do that also. And then proceeded to tell me the story how one night they tried to take the giant Colonel Sanders statue that use to be in front of KFC

We put cow poo in a bag then the bag in a shoe box and put it in the mailbox of someone we didn't like, lol. That was on a Halloween many moons ago. The same night we stole a huge Jack-o-Lantern and (there were 4 of us) took it to the town square...one guy climbed up on anothers shoulders then climbed to the top of the Statue of the man in the square and plopped the Jack-o-Lantern upside down on the head of the man  true story, lol.
You and Tevye and Darla were all so creative, my friends and I couldn't have come up with some of those ideas if we would have sat for a day in a locked room and were told to think real hard.  Most of our spur of the moment escapades were alcohol inspired

One of the Halloween moments that stands out to me was the year the older teenagers parked a Volks Wagon on the post office.   Monkey Devil! My Dad was mad because they had stolen our picnic table, but when he saw the car he was right over there with those guys getting the details of the deed.I guess the worst thing I ever did was accidently hit a cop car with an egg while hanging from a tree.I could run real fast back then.      I got away.

Good Morning Monkeys. Work is crazy already and I got here early.

Trimm I will pray for your friend and for Rifqa. Thanks to all you guys that worried about Josef's eye. It looked better this morning although he didn't like me putting in the medicine.

Also, please pray for Rifqa today. She is going to need it.

an angelic monkey I will pray for them. What kind of a person walks away because of sadness over losing a child? I'm sure you think of and miss your son everyday, and the sadness is always there  an angelic monkey My thoughts and prayers are with you and especially through the holidays, I hope you have a Merry Christmas, and you have your little grandchildren that will help bring some joy and laughter.
