Aww, hugs Mission, I'm sorry for your loss. That is so nice that you made a wreath for him. My dog was a shepherd too (maybe a belgian-we were never sure). We had him cremated, I still have his ashes in the tin they came in. We want to get a special urn, but we haven't been able to do it yet.

As long as we're sharing departed members of the family with fur, I'll tell you how we take care of our dogs that have passed on. (I'm waiting for a picture to print of my darling granddaughter, so I can justify the time!)

Good Morning NoRose and Happy Christmas Eve to you as well - it is snowing to beat the band here I am staying holed up for however long it takes - weeks, months, whatever.  Ditto on Brandi's story - very nice.

The only good thing is it is going to be a White Christmas  Stay holed up and enjoy all the good food and Christmas cheer to keep you warm

I had to go to the airport last night to pick up arriving out of town family from NY.  Delay, delay, delay.  Did not get home & in bed unitl 2:45am.  Now I've got to figure out how to get Bubba's bike (from Santa) from the neighbors after he goes to bed without noticing & stay awake long enough to stuff the stockings!

Praying for all of you who have loved ones missing from your table this Christmas and asking God to give you strength to carry on.

I had to go to the airport last night to pick up arriving out of town family from NY.  Delay, delay, delay.  Did not get home & in bed unitl 2:45am.  Now I've got to figure out how to get Bubba's bike (from Santa) from the neighbors after he goes to bed without noticing & stay awake long enough to stuff the stockings!

I will send you some snow Lovin we have plenty to go around and the reports are saying we will have 20 inches by tomorrow afternoon.  I remember those days trying to get my daughters gifts under the tree while she was sleeping sometimes I had to stay up half the night waiting for the right moment and making sure she was fast asleep.  Your son is going to be thrilled with a new bike.  How fun.

I also remember how hard it was to go to sleep on Christmas Eve as a child, trying to listen for Santa!  A bike is the only thing my son asked for.  He's outgrown the old one (and has the tires worn to the cords from doing burn outs, lol).  I think he's crazy asking for a bike in the middle of winter in OH because he won't even get to ride in until spring.  However when it's the only thing he really wants, mommy gets it.

I'm sorry that happened, hope your Christmas Eve and Christmas is filled with fun memories, Bubba's going to love his new bike 

Bubba always spends Christmas Day with his dad so Christmas Eve is our time.  He's with my mom right now baking cookies.  Later I'll go over there for dinner.  Then we go to the family service at church and to a party that friends throw every year.  We're going to have a great time (if I can stay awake!)
