[Northern Rose]

Our fondue was fabulous.  So stuffed right now.  I looked out and the northern lights are dancing tonight. Once the moon moves around a bit I will see if I can get my digital camera to capture the aurora.  Not sure the lens stays open long enough but I will give it a try.

Hi Tevye  Hope you're feeling better today.  Yes, I was able to acquire a great vintage Ripple, I think it was made last week, to serve to my guests in my wine cellar.  OK, it isn't a wine cellar.  It's just a hole somebody dug by the road, but it serves.

Evening Monkeys. Hope you guys had a good day. We rode the train all day, we get back and my brother got sick as soon as we got out of the car. Now I am feeling nauseous myself. I think he got car sick, and mine is psychosymatic. 

Anyways, I hope y'all have a great New Years Eve tonight. I have packed everything but what is in the fridge. I think whomever cleans this room is going to have a feast of tv dinners, taquitos and frozen burritos. I'm taking my chips and Little Debbies home with me.

Thanks No Rose. We are leaving at 8 am stopping so I can go to Mass in Santa Fe, then will probably be home by midnite tomorrow. I can't wait to get home.

My stepdad told me tonight that my mom (works part time for her brother) saved up and paid for the whole trip. I am glad I stayed the whole trip instead of booking out on a plane when my brother, his gf and I got in a fight. We all had a good time today until he got sick in the parking lot.

JSM, you CANNOT be sick! I am sick! I'm running a temp (100.2) and 1/2 of the little rascals are sleeping. The older one is watching Doctor Who while I take a smoke break. I still have to bundle us up and go out side and let off this firecracker thingy. We finally watched Prep and Landing, he liked it. We won't get to the microscope work until tomorrow...and gosh I hope I feel better! ( I KNow I'm supposed to call the doc if the temp goes over 100...but I'm not screwing up everyone's new years eve...this might be the first time my son and his wife have been *alone* in their own home in years!!!! I'll just drink more juice.

Member the party Red let us have last year? That was fun! That was the night I found out I got an A on the hardest class of my program....ahhh... good times.

So, feel better. And enjoy church tomorrow, take a pic of teh outside of it. I think I may have gone there when I was a kid a million years ago. It's very southwestern.....blue skies, white walls, stucco roof and gold trim. I hope it's good for you!

JSM That was so great of your mom.  Obviously she sacrificed a lot for this trip and I think she loves you a lot. Your step-dad sound like a terrific guy, too.
