Officials ask for help to find missing Springville teen
Staff reports • December 18, 2009

A missing Springville 16-year-old boy is believed to be in the Visalia area, the Tulare County Sheriff's Department reported.



Saxon Dir, believed to be a runaway, has been missing since Feb. 9. He has brown hair and brown eyes, weighs about 150 pounds and stands 6 feet 2 inches.

He may have grown a goatee or mustache and may go by the last name of Kelly.

Here is where the confusion may come in with the new board for ''missing endangered runaways''  IMO, not all runaways are endangered. So I do not know if this should be moved to that forum. He is a runaway, but IMO he is not 'endangered'.

Yes I can see the confusion. I suggested the run away folder to maybe spot light the cases a bit more. They seem to get lost in the missing folder.

It is my personal opinion that run aways in general are endangered because as we know being adults, it is hard out there and very dangerous. So many teen run aways can get themselves involved in prostitution, drugs, living on the streets.

I suggest cases that are listed as run aways be included in the run away folder but obvioulsy the decision lays with you all.
