Dana, I'll listen!

You need to be getting ready for the new year, you know!  Wink

Borg where are you going  for New years?

A friend is having a party. I'll go for a while but beyond that, nothing special. What about you? Anything special going on in JC?

One friend is having a bash at The Ridges! Have a early Vol Football game party  at my accountants place New Years day since the Vols play in the morning! I will probably go in early! Hopefully with little hangover! Wink  Wink

Seeing the Ford girls all grown up and looking a bit matronly reminds me how I am getting on in years.  Gosh, they were a fun loving lot of kids, real kids, normal kids and they added such a "lively" atmosphere to the White House.  Time is quickly passing.  Betty's fingers are but bones wrapped around the large arms of that general.  Ah.  I have seen too many state funerals and realize the bell tolls for all of us.

Tyler..........huh-uh. You're not going anywhere. You're involved in so many things, and your presence here means you're involved with empathy for others. That's the stuff an abundance of life is made of! Now, start contemplating your New Year's resolutions and make no more talk like that, the first one!  Wink

Tyler, I had the same feelings ~ and, Betty's hands were just gripping that general's arm.  Time passes, and it seems to more quickly, now.

TCUMom, it really was so sad, and time is just passing quickly.

Did we ever figure out who it was that "fainted" during the service.

Years ago, NY Eve, it would have taken me a week to get ready to go out. New outfit, hair, nails, all of that.
Now, I  just stay away from all of the big parties and have for about ten years. I still like to go out, but just a quieter thing.
I have a new, bought it a year ago sewing machine. Computerized.
Might have to fix it with a hammer. Or get a techie to 'plain to me why
no matter what I do, am getting the error message Bobbin Winding.
Might have to go to Sears and let them show me a thing or two. I have the instruction book, nothing about these freakin error messages.
I made a resolution that I would do no sewing except on the new thing.
It does lettering and all of those fancy stitches. It isn't one of those that downloads the patterns from the internet, then I would be in real big trouble.

Couldn't agree more, Cat. And it's particularly nice to hear your view because I think it's a bit more rare in a man. Kudos to you, Cat!  Wink

Cat, I could find you a Tomacat avatar, if you'd like.
