 Ummmmmmm  .  Where I manage.. they all call everyone there dear..LOL I  been there 2 months.. and I cant get into that habit yet.. I usually say hon or sweety..  LOL
  Well you must be a nice  guy then if you are getting called Dear..  Eat  it up..lol

LOL, Robots. You should be 5 feet tall and have a little kid looking face. I'm older than dirt and EVERYONE always calls me stuff like honey, sweetie, baby, dear, etc. You just get used to it after a while.

Years ago, NY Eve, it would have taken me a week to get ready to go out. New outfit, hair, nails, all of that.
Now, I  just stay away from all of the big parties and have for about ten years. I still like to go out, but just a quieter thing.
I have a new, bought it a year ago sewing machine. Computerized.
Might have to fix it with a hammer. Or get a techie to 'plain to me why
no matter what I do, am getting the error message Bobbin Winding.
Might have to go to Sears and let them show me a thing or two. I have the instruction book, nothing about these freakin error messages.
I made a resolution that I would do no sewing except on the new thing.
It does lettering and all of those fancy stitches. It isn't one of those that downloads the patterns from the internet, then I would be in real big trouble.

My cousin who is really handy at about anything    teaches computer courses at a junior college, and they offer a con-ed course on using these new sewing machines.  She took the course, and of course, she excelled.   She always does, according to the whole family, but that is beside the point.  She has made some beautiful things and monogrammed lots of stuff.  She even made me some monogrammed towels for Christmas in olde English with NOEL, NOEL, NMI, NOEL, NOEL.

I never though about that ! ! Right now, I need to leave it alone until I go to Sears. Or it will NEVER work again. That would be interesting to take a course in it. I used to sew alot, but just had a regular zig zag jobbie. This thing, well it's brain is bigger than mine at the moment.

 ROFL. I was partial to the chair lifts..
 I sent you that link .. for the ski resort here..  It is gorgeous..  if you and Mrs BOC  ever need a geataway.. They have awesome chalet rentals and condos too.  
 Watch out for the chairlifts    LOL

Seeing the Ford girls all grown up and looking a bit matronly reminds me how I am getting on in years.  Gosh, they were a fun loving lot of kids, real kids, normal kids and they added such a "lively" atmosphere to the White House.  Time is quickly passing.  Betty's fingers are but bones wrapped around the large arms of that general.  Ah.  I have seen too many state funerals and realize the bell tolls for all of us.

Tyler, I had the same feelings ~ and, Betty's hands were just gripping that general's arm.  Time passes, and it seems to more quickly, now.
