I think there wasn't time for all of this.  Even with Joran not going to school.  I still think it was accidental, but caused by the actions of J2K.  Some really believe Paulus was a part of it all, but nothing has yet convinced me that he was involved until after the fact.

Paulus was either the final intended recipient of Natalee or Joran went running to Daddy when things went wrong.  The lady living by the RC claims she saw the Kalpoe car enter & leave the RC 3 times that night.  Plenty of time to get ice and make alibis on the computer all at the same time.

"I dropped Joran off at the RC.  He was carrying his gym bag."  He mentions that gym bag frequently.  What was he carrying in it that made Paulus keep talking about it.  That was the same day he med Guido and made the claim about the winnings.  I hate 'em all.

We frequently ponder why they went into so much detail or talked about something so much.  I think the investigators asked them to tell in as much detail as possible everything they could remember.  A witness would be asked the same.  It would be interesting to know what questions were asked; that would tell us what they thought was important.  Why did he keep mentioning the gym bag?  Because they kept asking him about it.  They had suspicions.

Unfortunately not. I mainly ski Tahoe, Vail, and Utah (in that order). I heard it's great. Is it?

Klaasend - I see you and CBB have been very busy making everyone look festive.

LV - one bit of sad news is that Snoopy's sister passed away.

Was great to have CVZ, Red, etc on Dana...listen to the podcast (via Front Page lin) if you did not hear it live

I'm sure you're right. They did not expect Beth or anyone else so soon. That Joran just happened to be out at hour without Paulus' knowledge, and that he just happened to be with Deepak ( the guy he didn't spend much time with and only knew 3 months, and didn't have one thing in common with according to Joran ) is just too much of a coincident!

They would have checked commercial flights, not knowing that Jug's company would offer a private plane.

Those are all great.  I like Utah also because you can go to a different resort every day.  Almost went down a cliff in a huge storm at Alta once - couldn't see anything and took a wrong turn..

Telluride is one of my favorite, but it is tougher to get to.  The back side of Big Mountain is also great if you ever get Montana way.

Sleuth, the Koala reminds me of a Steve Irwin show.  He and Terri had relocated some Koalas, moving them in the back of their truck.  They had put tree branches and everything in the back to make them feel less stressed for the journey.  One big Koala was getting grumpy and causing trouble, so they put him in a carrier.  They got to the new location and Steve took the grumpy big Koala out of the carrier and put him on a tree branch in the new exhibit.  The Koala immediately peed on him.   Laughing Terri said the Koala was telling Steve "That's for putting me in a box."   Laughing

You're lucky to ski Telluride and Big Mountain. Alta is great. How did you like Park City? That's another one of my favs!
