BT

My mom lived with CHF and lived to be 94 1/2. Was eating chicken noodle soup and just turned her head and died; she had breast cancer at 92 and it was taken out. Think she just died of older age.

Keep the faith

page 17-- superior court adds 6 yrs to 12 yr term of woman accused of killing Mr Von Heyninganin june of 2006.

Geese, what did this woman do that the Pitbull killers didn't do, that she got her sentence extended?

judge said she originally admitted her crime then recanted,  she said she was coerced into that confession after all she is just a woman and couldnt have slit his throat almost decapitating him as others claimed.  judge didnot believe her.

Often wondered if Rene's murder had something to do with the Holloway case.  Maybe they are making sure she doesn't talk?

What Klaas said.

Hi everyone. Cirque du Soleil was incredibly good, but we weren't able to give away that free $75.00 ticket. We ended up throwing in the trash as we left.  Sad

My dad has now been diagnosed with an enlarged heart and congestive heart failure, so I would appreciate continuing prayers for him.

Anything interesting happen today?

Thanks.

Sure thing, BT.  That can be treated, so much new nowadays including the BiV ICDs.

I'm still in awe at the sentences of the Pitbull folks.

So all I got to do is give my worst enemy a free vacation to that dirty little island and provide him with some bad coke and I'm home free.

Course, wives of estranged husbands probably ought to be suspicious about arranged vacation cruises as well.

Amen to that Carnut!

BT, I will continue praying for your dad!! I bet Cirque de Soleil was fantastic!! Was it the Beatles show? I just got that CD for Christmas...it's a trip!

When I was in Montreal several years ago, I saw Cirque Eloize. It is an offshoot of Cirque de Soleil from what I understand. They performed at the opening ceremony of our annual meeting and were incredible!!

Thanks, Mishy.

The Cirque show I saw was Corteo. I believe it's a new one for them. It's about a man who has a dream that he has died, and it's all about angels. The "spotters" in the different acts are mainly angels with big, fluffy wings. They hang from the ceiling, sweep across the stag Very Happy e, etc. It's gorgeous!!!!!

Appeals & sandy leiva - thanks for posting re. the "Year in Review" on the Crappy Island ... I have posted your comments in the M&C thread. I don't have time right now to double-check, but I *think* that's two additional murders for 2006, plus the rape of the 11-yr-old girl.

Klaas - We've known for a while that among other things, Pitbull was "Colombian neck tied" ... thus the phrase "otherwise unspeakably mutilated" in my letters!

I have a notion that if a victim is a druggie, the sentences typically aren't as high as they might otherwise be ... and so it's worth it to make sure drugs are found at the scene, in the event someone gets charged and convicted. Just a guess - but how else to explain some of these sentences?

To put it another way - some victims, such as rape, drug users - "ask for it" and share some of the blame with the perp ...

If I don't have another chance, HAPPY NEW YEAR to each of you.

It seems to me that  PIMP gets the least sentence, a drug dealer next, a man next and a woman (those fourth-class Arubans) get the highest, heaviest sentence, probably because they are more apt to talk if they get out (by talking, I mean tell the truth).

Course it might just be simple economics.

Look at the order by who could provide the highest bribe payments.
