I'm not watching Dick Clark for New Years, haven't for quite awhile, it's just getting too commericalized. No more real 'feeling' for the New Year, nope, I'm just staying home and celebrating an old fashioned 'family' New Year.

Isn't Dick Clark one of those that passed away this year?

Nope, he's still with us and I believe will be ringing in the New Year in Times Square. Wink

You are right...I just went and read Yahoo Tv...thought he had a major stroke or something this year.......

SunFreak - why didn't you take my free $75.00 ticket to Cirque du Soleil in Atlanta today? I ended up throwing it in the trash. Wish you could have been there.  Sad

I seriously considered it as I love Cirque du Soleil.  It would have been too much on me to get to Marta, take the train, watch the show, take the train, then drive from the station back home.  As it turns out I ended up going back to the wound clinic today, b/c they tried a new type of dressing yesterday that ended up causing me pain & bleeding.

I would have thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and Mr BT.  Next time you come to Atlanta, I hope we can meet up.  I should be healed by then & have my moxie back.

Awww....I'm so sorry about your dressing.  Crying or Very sad

It probably would have been difficult for you, even without the dressing problem, due to the heavy rain. We parked in the Atlantic Station parking garage directly across the street from the big tent, and we still got drenched before we got inside.

I just read Mr Red's front page post about all the people who died this year.  I followed the link to the list of all the people.  It wasn't complete b/c it didn't report James Brown, President Ford & Saddam.  We really lost some great people this year.  It sure was a tough year for me.  Shoot it's been a tough decade for me.   But everyone has tough times.  That's what I love about the monkeys, we may never have laid eyes on each other, but a monkey will always be there for you.  And we will always be here for Natalee's loved ones.

So many people need a better year in 2007.  My prayers & wishes are for everyone, even for evil people to find the cajones to do the right thing and admit to what they have done.

Hiya Mishy

Cruise was fine. Weather was nice n warm. Also got to discuss Natalee with a few folks. Set a few straight about the real details vs what they had heard or read. Especially the Dutch guy in the casino.   Laughing

BT and Sunfreak, Do either of you live anywhere near Douglasville in Georgia? My mom's sister, (my aunt) and my cousins live there.

Hiya Elaine. He made the mistake of asking if we were taking the new cruise route which would include Aruba. I just started by saying I wouldn't go there if they gave me the damn island. Then proceeded to tell him why.

Yes, that is a 1931 Ford Model A Hot Rod that I built back in 1965 and owned until 2003 when I sold it to my nephew.
