Robots:  According to the article "Joran is a Delicious Youth",  Joran's apt. door is never locked or doesn't have a lock.
"Most likely I informed the bus driver that Joran would not be going with the bus. A clue to the fact that Joran did not go to school that Monday could be that on Tuesday I insisted that he went to school that day." ...from PVDS statement.
It is doubtful that Joran got on the bus that Monday morning but Paul's memory of the event raises a few questions:
-Why wouldn't Val or Sebastien (sp) tell the bus driver (if they were in Aruba)?
-When and how did Paul get the information that Joran was not going to school that day?  According to Paul - he is the one who gets the boys out of bed at 6 AM so they can get on the bus at 6:15-6:20.
-Where was Joran, at the time the bus came by, that he did not tell the bus driver himself?
It sounds as if Joran was supposed to go to school on Monday but between 6 AM and 6:20 AM, Paul became aware that Joran had decided not to attend school the entire day - even though he had a huge homework assignment due - and there is no mention of Paul driving him to school or offering to drive him to school.  This brief period of time is when Joran must have told Paul about his casino win (what win?) and given him the florins (?) to deposit in the bank.  The next action of Paul's (according to him) is driving to work at 8 AM (in Palm Beach?) but returning to the Noord area at 10 AM to try (unsuccessfully) to deposit Joran's money.  I think Rita Dijkhoff (the cleaning lady) needs to be questionned again.

you know what has always bothered me ?

maybe it sounds koookie.. but work with me please Cool

joran coming in at all hours of the night, course we dont know what time
exactly but we know it was late

maybe im wrong but i have never heard anything about KEYS
not a snipppet of JORAN the KILLER unlocking the doors with his set of keys when he arrive

Maybe I'm not understanding the question....but is it about Joran using keys? and not being heard? Well, he had his own apartment......I think that probably prior to Joran "coming of age" visiting judges may have stayed in those private quarters, when Joran turned 16(?) he probably moved   there. I honestly doubt they even lock the doors

no,its not about hearing the keys
its about where were the keys the whole NIGHT. he went swimming, he was walking all over the place.....he lost his shoes

when people go swimming, the often put keys in their sneakers

i cant imagine not locking the doors,,,to the apt

Paulus has selective or maybe convenient memory loss.  I cannot believe that he did not know whether JOran went to school or not.  For goodness sakes - that Mon night is when the Holloway/Twittys showed up at his house.  Wouldn't any NORMAL person think to themselves - hey - Joran did not go to school today, and these people show up- that is strange... OR hey - Joran went to school as normal, nothing out of the ordinary.  Of course this is taking into consideration they think Normally - which we know they do not.  I guess what I am saying is that Paulus is telling a bald faced lie.  He remembers alright.  He remembers it all.  He is just conveniently NOT remembering to "save his son" and in my opinion, his own skin too.

The whole thing about depositing money or not being able to stinks to high heaven too.  That is BS too.

I agree with you Leslie, the cleaning lady and several more need to be questioned again.  And THIS TIME - ask the right questions.    Also - what about the head master of school.... he needs to be questioned again.  And I don't even know if any of JOran's schoolmates were EVER questioned.

I think this is a reference for the story PVDS told about going to the bank in the morning and it was too busy so he went back to the office without making a deposit.

Morning Monkeys.  Just waiting for the "everyone is holding their breath in Alabama" announcement concerning Nick Saban coming to Alabama as a head football coach.  I am not holding my breath, BTW.

Hi, AZSunny....lovely sig image.

In his statement, Paulus said he went to the bank to deposit the $ in the AM, but the lines were too long, then, subsequently left his office again in the afternoon to make this deposit.

Paul said the money was Joran's winnings from gambling and even Joran says that there were no "hundreds of florins" won but rather he lost money.  Paul places himself in the Noord area at 10 AM,  with his failed attempt to deposit money due to the excessive crowds story.
