This morning I approved a new member that appears to be Gabriel's father Logan.  I'll watch for his posts and hopefully he will identify himself.  He's not online right now.

Me too..I fell for this young man. Sounds like he was the only stable person in this child's life.

Wow I am listening to the telephone interview she did, what a twisted person she is. Tammi is also trying to control the conversation, by saying she was being pushed off the ledge.

I watched the nbc today shows video and it showed Elizabeth at court, is there a link to that? Wow it is chilling to look into her eyes, shudder! This young girl is very troubled.

I watched a video of the grandfather being interviewed and wondered if he is the grandfather to this little boy or simply a neighbor? WTH? Where is the worry, the outrage, the heartbreak? His little grandson is missing and might be dead or being tortured? The media taped him as he took pics of everyone in his kitchen? My god! While on the phone with her he didn't ask where the baby was? Is this person for real? I understand everyone reacts differently but come on.

Elizabeth Johnson's grandfather, Bob Johnson, even felt the Smiths were speaking in code to her when we recorded a group phonecall including the Smith's and Elizabeth from jail in Miami.

What is clear is that the Smiths, even then, were trying to clear their names.

"Did we try really hard to get you back here?" asked Tammi Smith.

"Yes," replied Elizabeth Johnson.

"And did we offer to get you an attorney and help you to keep custody?" Smith asked.

"Yeah," said Johnson.

Yes the prosecutor did a good job.  No Rose this video confirms that there was first a text message to Logan and then she called him.  I am going to watch this again and see when she starts shaking her head.  BTW, IIRC the fake name she used was Elizabeth Jones according to a news report from San Antonio.

Too me she has a "deny at all costs" attitude. I think she made up the story about the couple in park. It makes no sense she just would happen upon a couple at a random park who just so happened to want to adopt a child and took this child. She has no name, no address, nothing. I am sure all of you have already come to this conclusion, sorry if I am repeating what may have already been said or what seems to be the obvious.

I agree about the interview was also being used by the smiths as a way to clear themselves..Could they be telling the truth? Could EJ have been so manipulative as making them believe she was running from an abusive boyfriend/father and she was protecting the baby? No disrespect (well maybe some) but Tammi doesn't seem to be the brightest bulb, if you know what I mean. Shame on them for not checking things out first, if this is true.
 
Maybe this was all in the plan EJ had to what she believed was to protect Gabriel not from the father but from her? She seems like she really put some thought into this and worked out some of the details. The grandfather stated she wanted all along to give the baby up for adoption, that worries me. What also worries me is she now seems to have a "who cares" attitude because she got what she wanted in the end, she is not being the mom to the baby. Hopefully he is alive.

- refused to tell investigators or Logan where she was located

- fact of the case is that she already fled

- defendant is the only person who knows where Gabriel is and if he is dead or alive

- refuses to cooperate and tell anyone where Gabriel is

- took Gabriel, concealed him and took him to TX

- Real possibility Gabriel is not alive

EJ says to the Judge "everything she is saying is completely false"

"Um...ask you, I really don't know what to say but everything is so false , from the fleeing to everything she said is so completely false.  I don't know what else to say about that."

I thought early on Gramps knows more than he is telling...EJ has stayed in close contact with him during her wild ride!!!, as he said she is a wild  one to ride.

Northern Rose, did you see her mannerisms when she asked about her lawyer and then when she walked away? She seems almost drugged she was so relaxed. I found that strange.

All she wanted was to know when she got a lawyer and then walked away like she was dismissing the judge.
