Poor little boy, his first christmas doesn't seem to have been a very happy one. I wish this young woman called authorities, seems like there are a few missed opportunities to help this little guy.

Speaking of Christmas, that has been in the back of my mind, did she have anyone there to celebrate Christmas with, did she just not bother? Never heard anything about that, I guess not that it matters, but how sad for Gabriel.

I would assume she did nothing for him, no tree, no lights, no presents...It has always broke my heart to think of little kids waking up at christmas to nothing, unless they simply don't celebrate of course. This was his first one, he is just a baby. I remember my babies at christmas, they loved looking at the lights and ripping the paper or better yet, playing with the boxes! They sort of looked like this  Sounds to me like Baby Gabriel cried all day, was most likely hungry and he needed to be cared for. 

I know my kids were like that also, oh the excitement, how horribly sad that Gabriel didn't have that. And I don't understand Elizabeth's grandfather, some of the statements he has made, you would think he would have put in a little bit of interest, and tried to help her. It sounds like he just doesn't care, or maybe just sick of trying to help

I wonder why he didn't alert the father when she took off saying she was going to change her name and such. He allowed her to borrow the car even? That is one point I just don't understand.

A blog comment on a scrapbooking website is also being investigated by Tempe, AZ authorities. Whoever wrote the entry says they are from Wisconsin but are currently in San Antonio where they adopted a young boy named Gabriel on January 4th.

Actually they took custody of Gabriel on 1/1/10 and Beth posted on the blog on 1/4/10.

told babysitter she was going to an appointment but babysitter says EJ goes out dressed for clubbing

This tip should be very simple to following up on.  Becky filled a Project Life Kid order for Beth and ... sent that order to Beth's MI residence.  Beth's address should be the catalyst that will allow authorities to determine if Gabriel Johnson is the same baby Gabriel who Beth adopted.

The babysitter is on now. She says EJ looked very angry, upset, "like she wanted to kill me".      Well then why would you hang around and babysit?
