I'll catch up with you guys a little later. Real life duties call. A couple that I went to school with and have known all my life died in a house fire in the early morning hours of Thursday morning. Please keep the Phillips and Little families in your prayers. I am making some food to take for the families. And also pray for the Privitt Family as their son died in a car accident last night.

There are two things that don't sit well for me about Mrs. Smith:

When she was twittering her thumbs answering N.G. questions, and when she kept saying she is "brain storming"

trying to figure out to Gabriel's whereabouts. JMO-Mrs. S. seems uncomfortable anwswering certain questions,

a feeling of deception is what I percieve.

If Gabriel was turned over to an underground organization, I doubt that they would come
forward and identify themselves.

If he was turned over to prospective parents, by way of a baby broker group, there may be a better chance that either the couple or someone who knows them, will speak up.

It is disturbing to think that he could be anywhere in the world.  Prayers for this child.

I am hoping that Elizabeth's warped but sincere sense of love dictates that Gabriel is safe.  I pray that whoever has this baby will come forward.

I am not condoning Elizabeth's actions but ... my heart breaks that somebody ... without selfish motives ... did not come into this young lady's life ... sombodey who could convince her that she had the ability ... with guidance ... to provide the stable environment she desired for her son ... the stable environment that she was denied.

Update: Family member says mom of missing baby wanted him in stable home

SAN ANTONIO -- The mother of a missing baby is reportedly working with the F.B.I. on a sketch of the couple she allegedly gave the child to in San Antonio.

Elizabeth Johnson remains in a Florida jail. She told authorities she gave her 8-month-old son Gabriel to a couple she met with at Raymond Russell Park.

Gabriel's great-grandfather says Elizabeth did not want to be a mother but wanted her baby to be in a stable home.

"She didn't want him to be brought up in a life like she had, where she was in 5 foster homes," explained Robert Johnson.

The F.B.I., San Antonio Police and officers from Arizona are all involved in the search for Gabriel Johnson. They are hoping to take Elizabeth Johnson back to Arizona next week.

To me it seemed too easy for them as the father was in jail for the assault charge so why not go to court when they know no one else will show up?  You know I am really wondering if the false disappearance of Gabriel in Dec that EJ reported was a plan hatched up by someone else so that Logan would be in jail and the papers would be a non-issue?  History repeats itself so to speak.

i see what your saying, was he still on probation? maybe she was trying to get him thrown back in jail for kidnapping.... dont know if his probation time and this event coincide just a thought

Last night on NG Tammi was going through a long story about how they tried to meet Logan and his father after the custody hearing in Court in Dec and Logan just left never did meet them.  Tammi said EJ had sole custody of Gabriel and NG corrected Tammi saying it was joint and said they have the court docs to prove it.  It sent off my hinky meter so while digging through court records this morning I found them.

Was filed by Logan not Elizabeth and it was to prove paternity not custody.  Logan has been fighting to be Gabriel's father.  Once paternity was proved the court ordered joint custody until the next court date. 

Does anyone know what a Motion for Pre-Decree Temporary Order without Notice for Child Custody is?  That was filed Dec 14 and this Paternity Judgement seems to be filed as a result.

T. SMITH: She did. She had -- she had the custody -- physical custody. And then when she went to court, when he was.

GRACE: Let me rephrase. It`s my understanding she had shared custody with the father. They had shared custody.

T. SMITH: No.

GRACE: That he would get to visit. No?

T. SMITH: You`ll have to look at the documents, but I can tell you that she had physical custody and then when they went to court, he was trying to get custody.

J. SMITH: Sure.

T. SMITH: And the judge gave her custody and said that he could have a visit.

GRACE: OK, hold on.

T. SMITH: That`s all I know.

GRACE: Matt Zarrell, you`ve got the documents, I`ve got the documents. What do they say and give it to me in a nutshell, Matt.
