Been away dealing with online chat with comcast, our cable provider. Got two DTAs for our extra TVs that do not have ditital boxes attached to them, and they cannot seem to get them activated correctly. They have tried 6 times since 8:30 last night.

Cable companies suck, IMO. LOL

Anyway, that is the reason for my delay in posting.

Cable companies and phone companies suck 

They do indeed suck the big one, but where would we be without them? I'd be curled up in my bed, I'd have a PhD by now, and I would not be able to speak to anyone over the age of 10. In short, I'd be missing my monkeys and i'd be a GAF all the time! I'd be the General GAF!

morning all monkeys who got on here after I said good morning...hope everyone is doing ok and surviving the cold weather! brrrrr....I hate it...
hubs and I went to the gambling boat yesterday with a friend...hubs won, I lost...it was fun...filled an afternoon...We both love to play black jack...

My husband gambled on some boat when he was in Florida on business he had fun. I don't gamble, only did once at a casino in Wisconsin, I won a hundred bucks  I am probably the only person in the world who has driven through Las Vegas three times and never gambled. Spent the night there and stayed in the room, I'm a lot of fun 

Rosie...was that HoChunk Casino in Wisconsin? we have been there many times..about 2 hr drive from out house....

Whoever invented the DVR, I would like to thank them for making my life so much easier.      I don't know how much I pay for it a month but it is worth it.

The news is off for the day, between Harry Reid, Mark what's his name with steroids, and who the he!! cares about Simon Cowell, I never watched American Idol, and don't plan on it, now I see Ellen Degeneres is now on that show, who cares 

"Make It or Break It" marathon is on Family channel. It's a guilty pleasure....

I've never watched that before. I hate to even say what my guilty pleasure is even my daughter who watches Jersey Shore looks at me like I'm nuts. I watch Parental Control on MTV, like to guess if they are going to keep their boyfriend or girlfriend, or go with a new one 

I started watching Jersey Shore this weekend and I couldn't stop.    I don't even know the peoples names,but I kept on watching.

I don't think so, it was near Green Bay, and I don't remember the name, it was a nice casino, and their was a nice hotel.

BBL, Josef needs to go sniff some bushes. He seemed fiestier today when I picked him up. I sure hope the medicine is working, I don't think I can afford to up the dose.  Oh well, I guess that means no ciggies and beer for me. He is more important than my vices. 

Look online for the meds, ours were way cheaper from 1 800 petmeds than from our vet.

Pardon me for sounding dumb but what does GAF stand for?  LOL... I have been trying to figure it out and even googling didn't work.....

BTW, my baby granddaughter is out of the hospital!  I heard her laughing and playing again.  Thank you my friends for all the prayers!

I got side tracked over in Gabriel's thread I don't know if the meds that the vet gave is just for dogs, but the meds that our vet gave us is people medicine and I get it for five dollars a prescription at Walmart.

bananas, how wonderful and what a relief for your daughter and you and the rest of the family. So happy that you got to hear her laugh. Now your daughter is going to have trouble getting the little guy back home, it will be hard for you to send him back

I will miss him but I am plumb wore out too.  He is missing his mama and home now.  I think she is going to drive out here to get him tomorrow.  I am just thankful they are both out of the woods now.

My grandma in law (is there such a word?) had a bathroom with indoor plumbing but still used the old outhouse most of the time.. funny, they are just set in their ways.
