Morning Monkeys. Sorry I am behind. No Rose, ITA with you sending an email to CNN. There is no reason to show stuff like that on TV. I just went to get my avocado for breakfast and talked to my friend. She hasn't slept all night and hasn't heard from any of her family since the earthquake. She is devastated. Please pray for her and for the Haitians.

Anyways, have a wonderful day and I will BBL. 

I'm hoping she hasn't heard from them because of the telephone lines being damaged. My prayers to her, and to all the people there, how devastating. A person with half of a brain can figure out the death and destruction, I see no reason to show children under these circumstances. Just looking at the buildings alone is enough to make a person sick. A terrible thought came to me, where in the world will all these deceased people be buried?

She said the phone lines are down and she watched CNN all last night. I pray she diddn't see the images of children you saw  Her children are here, but the rest of her family is in Port au Prince. Thanks for your prayers, she said the only thing she can do now is pray.

I would tell her please to watch the coverage on the Weather Channel if she has that channel. Believe it or not their coverage has been very good, and I didn't see any images that were as distasteful as CNN.

Thanks Mission, I just talked to her again and she is so sad. I think she knows in her heart that her family isn't okay. 

JSM, please keep reassuring her that most of the phone lines are down and it might be awhile before she hears from her family. A little bit of hope....

And please tell your friend not to look at the slideshow on Fox.com, it did warn that it was graphic, and it was. Certainly horrible, but doubly horrible if you haven't heard from your loved ones. I'm sure, that because of the power lines that is why she hasn't heard anything.

Quite possibly mass graves. I know, that sounds disrespectful, but for sanitation and disease control, that is the most expedient solution.

So far the coverage on the Weather Channel is good, I'm so upset with CNN right now. I am not a squeamish person by no means, but I have to say that picture shock me up. I would hate to have someone that is waiting to hear from loved ones see something like that
