Morning Monkeys, just spoke to my friend, she still hasn't heard anything from her family. She seems more upbeat today, but she is still very sad and asked me to keep praying. Just thought I would give you an update.

Good Morning Monkeys!  I hope everyone is well - prayers to those who have friends with loved ones in Haiti - I pray they will be found safe - it is such a devastating situation and makes one feel so helpless.

Tevye - Good luck at Chemo today I will be thinking about you.

It is sad, and I pray for all the people there and the rescue workers.

Tevye will be thinking of you also  Mission hope the weather isn't too cold. We have bad winds right now. I hate wind, but I promised myself I won't complain, when you see the devastation in Haiti, it makes you shut up and not complain. JSM I pray your friend hears from her family

I hope she hears something today No Rose, I would be at my wits end, but she seems to be handling it better today. 

I'm glad she has the strength in her to be handling it better today  I just don't know what to say, they are talking to people on the news that are in the same position as your friend, and I guess they just have to wait, and I don't see how they can do that.

Digger update.He will not sit on the new furniture.Who ever knew he had new furniture phobia. 
I am scared of what I will come back home to.

Hubby has to leave a gain to help fix a lady's sink.I 'm not going.I put one of digger's blankets up by me and I think that helped him.He is a little chit.

Good Morning NoRose - I hope you get your plumbing matter fixed that is a bummer.  You should have seen how beautiful it was here this am - all the trees and everything were coated with a beautiful white frost - I was in awe - it was 29 when I got up so hopefully we will not have the brutal temps we had in Dec and the first half of Jan anymore - you are so right about complaining about the weather - actually about complaining about anything at all - it really is so sad. 

I love to see the trees coated with a beautiful white frost  I'm trying not to complain, and I'm going to call the doctor, because of this wind and my allergies, I need more antibiotics because my ear is hurting again. Then I turn on the tv and see people in Haiti suffering from broken limbs and other horrible things with no pain medication or help, I feel guilty. My prayers for all the people and the suffering. 

Don't feel guilty - call the Dr right NOW you may have had another infection pop up, did you call your reg doc to see if you can get in about getting in to see him too.  Don't wait on your ear pain - that is not good.

Continued prayers for your friend.  All the communications lines are in shambles over there so it could be something that simple as the reason your friend has not heard from her family.

She seemed much better at lunch. She says she is praying, but that she knows deep in her heart not all of them made it out alive.
