Hope you are feeling better today. Prayers your grand babies are both doing well.

Thanks Green Eyes.... the babies are doing great.  Do you live close to my hometown?  Foat Wuth?  LOL.  I just bought tickets for the rodeo but am not going on opening weekend.  I like the excitement to die down a bit before we go.  The weather is getting beautiful out there today!  I am going to get out for a bit today for sure!

The weather is fantastic!  I went to the park and walked 3 miles with one of my best friends.  So nice to get outside and get some exercise.... not to mention the good company and catching up with her.  I grew up in good old Fort Worth and have lived in the midcities area for over almost 30 years.   

Hey Bananas, the weather is awesome today. I am glad the babies are well. I didn't realize you lived in the mid cities now. What a small world neighbor.

I'm not positive who you mean (sorrry, slept thru it) but i have a sinking feeling that I know which one he is. He takes much joy in the stereotypical male skater, no?

Exactly Tevye. I think one piece jumpsuits with lace and mesh, feathers and sequins should be outlawed. JSM needs to run USFSA and the ISU, costume rules would be enforced and deductions taken accordingly.

Prayed for you and Katgram today at mass along with the other monkeys (bananas babies), I usually don't like our priest, but he went all out today. Brought up Haiti at the beginning of Mass and I took a $50 because they bishops had asked for an extra collection. Mass is over, no 2nd collection. Then he asked us to sit down, said we would have a 2nd collection. Then the prayer he said for the people of Haiti and family/friends of those that are there and brought tears to my eyes. So bonus points for Fr Rudy. Sorry for the long story, I have no Catholic friends that would understand and I tried to tell my family over lunch and their eyes glazed over. Probably like the monkeys are that read this post.

God Bless Father Rudy! I didn't go to church, every cell I own hurts, but I did pray...for all kinds of things except me. WAit, I did pray to be nicer and more patient and get my homework done. but mostly I prayed that the world would start ceasing to be such an insane, upside down place. (Oh, yeah, and I told God thanks for letting you land your jump! If you do it once, you can do it again. I WANNA GO SKATING THIS YEAR!!!)

Your church did a fine thing. I'm sure the people of Haiti appreciate it. I know it makes me awfully proud to be an American when we all just step up and get er done.
