the wind is so wonderful here...not!!!!

we have a job trailer, i dont know what else to call it but one of those mobile offices like you see the boss having at a consrtuction site, well we have one of those until we decide to build our office and the wind is shaking it sooo bad my comp screen is wabbling around and i am glad i dont get sea sick!!! its crazy, the flag pole acroos the street looks like it will snap!

I hope it isn't too bad for you No Rose. I hate wind more than storms.

Where I live, we always have a prevailing wind out of the SW. Most of the time it doesn't bother me, but sometimes, when it's 90 degrees and I'm picking strawberries and the mosquitoes are ignoring all attempts to buzz off...I think about the reading I did about pioneer women. Some of them (on the plains) would get so crazy from the unceasing winds, they'd kill their whole family and then themselves, just so they wouldn't have to listen to that damn wind anymore! I told DH that story one day, shortly thereafter he installed central AC for us!

Mind you, it wasn't the actual movement of the wind that irks me, it's the noise!! I can't stand unneccessary noise outside. God help you if you're one of my neighbors and your dogs bark all day while you're at work. First, you'll get a note from me, and if that doesn't work, then Animal control will pay you a visit. Also, if you have a kid that just screams all day, I will ask you why. If you tell me anything other than "Wow, I'm sorry, I'll try to get him to quiet down", then I will call social services. And if your kid is special needs, I'm sorry. However, part of being a special needs family is learning how to cope in a non-special world. Parking your autistic kid on the porch for 4 hours on a hot summer day and letting them scream their poor little hearts out is teaching no one anything, except leading me to suspect that you're abusing your kid.

Will you move in here with me? I sure could use you to help with screaming kids and barking dogs  I can't stand the noise either, and here in the summer when the dry hot winds blow, it is awful. Dirt blowing all over, leaves, what ever can move from the wind will. And then the clean up is really bad.

Go Tevye!!  I have to admit I get very frustrated with people who leave their dogs out all day especially if they are barkers. But to leave them out in the hot Texas heat would make me a crazed person. Many times I called animal control on people too.

OK, the caffiene loading project is progressing nicely. I just had to share with ya'll the absolute worst thing about this cancer. If you are easily grossed out, cover your eyes:

CHOCOLATE HOLDS ALMOST NO ATTRACTION OR TASTE FOR ME! Now, doesn't that just suck? Oh, the humanity! I can deal with being bald and tired all the time...but to not care for chocolate.... (although it is helping in the weight department!)

I wonder why that is? But I've gone though periods where chocolate didn't excite me like it once had. Though I'm attracted to it again, and hope it stops soon  And snack cakes keep calling me for some reason 

Eat the whole box and that will not happen.
