Well, QM, your cute smileys gave me an idea. And while I was executing said idea, my computer crashed. LOL

Heavy memory hogging graphics apps and the fact I hate to reboot was partially to blame. LOL

Anyway, decided we needed an engine. No engineer yet though.

We sure will, the train is really filling up. But if Sponge Bob jumps around like that the whole trip, something tells me I'm going to punch him

LONG DAY!

My van was finished, and the only reason I knew that is because I called them and asked them! Maroons! So, I got to the jail on time (if the train's on time we'll get to work by 9) and througholy enjoyed the inmates I spoke with. There is so much to be done there, I really wish Bill Gates would just gift the jail 40 grand and I'd start full time next week!

When I spoke with the garage yesterday, to tell them what happened with the van, I told them they had better sprinkle the van with holy water and have a cross on them when they approached it. Today, when I read the service order, the phone guy had actually written that in the order! Pretty funny, but not funny enough for me to forgive them their tardiness.

So, I get home from jail and store run and have just enough time to vacuum the floors and mop the kitchen floor and feed the dog before the 2 grands get dropped off so Mom and Dad can have a WalMart stock the shelves date. The kids and I had a blast, I gave my grandson a new nick, "Harry". He loved it!! He told me last year I can't call him Ralphie anymore, so when I asked if Harry was ok, he was thrilled. He's a big Harry Potter fan....and I actually have like the first Harry Potter Lego set, so we worked on that after I got his little sister tucked away. She can say "Mimi"!!!

DH was at a dinner with his guy friends, and when he got home, he didn't feel well, so he went downstairs and we just rocked upstairs. I was so tired my eyes don't quite focus right, but having those two little rascals around really helped me feel better.

Harry and I made a deal: If we each get all our homework done by next Friday, he can come and have a movie night with me. Only problem is my homework consists of one 10 page paper, and 4 chapters of my ISP presentation. So, roughly 3" of paperwork. He says he only gets homework if he's sick (he's in kindergarden), so I told him I'd call his teach and tell her to make him do 3" of homework. He said "No! She won't do that!" Drat it all! What kind of a world is ?
Only problem: I forgot to let the dog back in! I mean, he was able to be in the heated garage, but I still felt badly that I forgot about him. Oh well, can't remember everything!

And then I come here and see you guys added like 10 pages, and at least 2 cars to the train, how fun!

Oh, and for those of you with dog/arthiritis problems, I notice that there seems to be a connection with bad weather and dogs seeming to be worse. Remember, dogs are like us. When the barometer changes, I get pains from stuff that happened years ago. My brother can tell when a storm is coming by his knee acting up, and my mom's feet do the same thing. What I'm saying is that your dogs' ills may be weather related. And, if you increase their dosage of their arthiritis meds, remember to give it a few days to kick in.

Wow, sorry to ramble on. Next week, I'll be at the jail every afternoon, so daughter in law says I have to start going to bed at 10 pm. I think she's right, I can't keep being this tired.

Just stopped by and saw that Joe and Zoe are not feeling well..... I will pray for the
furbabies....JSM don't give up on the competition your as young as you feel and from your post your just a babe...I am sure skating keeps you feeling young.  I have been so busy with my work but have managed to read a few threads but not post much, as usual this thread brightens my day all monkey friends have a great and safe weekend

My Grandmother, too.  Her next door neighbor told me when girls whistle the Blessed Mother cries.  Well that stopped me from learning.

Woman Kills Boyfriend By Sitting On Him: Mia Landingham gets Probation
January 22, 2010 at 08:36 am

It was last August when a story broke of a woman who had killed her boyfriend by sitting on him. During an argument Mia Landingham, who weighs almost 300 pounds, killed her smaller boyfriend Mika Middlestone-Bey by sitting on him during an argument. The couple had three children together.

Mia Landingham's trial ended yesterday and she was sentenced to three years probation and 100 hours community service; she plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter. She was released from jail yesterday.

Landingham told the court: ‘I just want to say that I am sincerely sorry about this situation. I wish I could take it back.’ 

Mikal's family were outraged by the result. One of his sisters said: ‘So basically you can say that I can go sit on somebody and get probation?

‘I feel there wasn't no justice.’
