JSM's BEGGING FOR BAN THREAD #12

[Northern Rose]

I have shoveled snow twice today and it is still coming down, baked oatmeal raisin cookies and have cinnamon buns proofing right now and still have 4 loads of laundry to so.  I want this winter nonsense to go away so I an srt my plants for my garden already   

What is really irritating me is that TSN keeps cutting away from classic canadian curling open finals and the canadian juniors curling to update other sports       

  Cinnamon buns and cookies!!! I'm sorry you are having such a lousy day and horrible winter. I wouldn't last a minute up there.

I hate it when you are trying to watch a sporting event and they break in for other sports that don't really mean anything at all (like when they break in on figure skating to tell you who won snowboarding in Timbuktu) 

I hope your curling teams do well though. 

No other sport can you yell at the tv to sweep and hurry 

I hope our curling teams kicks ice at the olympics!  and if we don't then I hope Scotland wins.  The chinese have been focusing on curling and have some good teams now as well but I am not cheering for them.  We need a Tonya Harding in curling to bring some spice to the sport for the networks to cover it better    A good old fashion shin whacking chase across the sheet of ice would have no commercials by TSN

I bet curling gets more exposure during these Olympics than usual. I love curling.

There is a curling program up here in schools call rocks and rings.  It has special equipment that can roll across gym floors and the kids love it.  I hope this video plays for you

That is exactly how I get.....butterflies in the stomach....and, if they are behind, I have to walk around and find something to do.   Would be nice if they were ahead the whole time....lol.

GAG!! Rachael Flatt is skating her short program. Poor girl fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. 

    I have never heard that expression before, but can assure you I will be using it.           Riley is a little hunter also, Zoe caught a mouse one day, and she dropped it, because I screamed so loud, I thought she just had a lizard 

He leaves their little bodies lined up by the balcony door if I don't yell at him to drop them.  He caught a baby squirrel last year and now hunts them as well.  I had to pry his jaw open to let the squirrel go.  He also caught a magpie once.  Now that was messy!  Looked like I had a bird plucking contest in the yard.

  I do the same thing if they are behind. I usually don't get to see the games, but I usually try and find a radio station and livestream the games. I so hope and even prayed at church that they win today.  After all they are SAINTS

Yes I am hiding in the picture LOL. I guess the ugly tree saying is a Texan thing. I remember hearing that as a kid.  Not very nice of me to say about that little girl, but I don't like the way she skates or her dresses. Someone needs to do one of those color analysis and tell her not to wear hot pink with her pasty skin and hair color.
