Hi JSM, doing ok I guess. I hope all is well with you too and that mr. josef is feeling better today!

He seems to be doing better. Thanks for asking. He has a full tummy and is sleeping next to me on the couch.

Just got knocked out of here again! What's going on today, I don't remember it getting this bad!! 

It is like there is a hex on SM today. It is driving me crazy QM, I am going to bed. Have a great evening.

good morning all!

I kept getting knocked out of the cage so much last night that I finally gave up and went to bed to watch tv with hubs!  hopefully things will be better today!

I had a really awful experience last night at a very popular store...I was shopping around...it was really empty in the store cause the weather wasn't so great and it was around 4:45...before people get off work I suppose..anyways, I noticed this creepy guy was standing near where I was looking at shoes...ok..he was staring ...not thinking too much of it...went over to look at the tea/coffee selections for the Kurig coffee pots...he follows me...stands in back of me...I walk around the corner of the display, away from him standing in back of me...he walks over to "look" at pans...but he isnt' looking at the pans..he is staring at me...I look at him..he does not break his gaze, he is glaring at me...I look away...we are the only 2 in this section of the store..I am getting really uneasy...I turn quickly to walk to the service desk which is in sight but still a walk away...he just as quickly starts following me! I see a gentleman looking at bedspreads...I go to him and I say, please just stay here for a minute...Why? he says, I tell him that this guy has been following me around the store and that he is really scaring me! the creepy guy walks quickly up towards the front of the store...I go to service desk and report it to them...the manager comes back there...asks me what he looks like..I say, he was scruffy looking ...a black stocking cap on his head, unshaven, dark greasy hair hanging out from the stocking cap..black ski type coat on ..piercing black eyes that had no soul (as Rhianna said about Chris Brown when he attacked her!)...the manager said that he is still lurking down at the other end! They walked me out to my car..this guy was not there to shop and certainly not for a set of pans or coffee or teas!
the reason that I am saying this is because there is no doubt in my mind that this man was up to no good! he was either going to take my purse or he was going to take me! I am telling all you women to be aware always of your surroundings...I really feel that this man is a danger and that management should have called LE..if the guy was innocent, sorry, but if he wasn't then we did the right thing...there was no security guard on duty at that time...I called back to the store after I left to see if anything had happened or if the guy had left...was told that management saw him drive away in a large suburban vehicle...I just pray that he does not harm anyone...If I hear that a woman has been taken or that a person had been robbed last night, it would not surprise me at all! I am thinking of calling there again today to see if they have a tape of the customers in there last night and to have the police look at them..I am not easily spooked in a public place but I truly believe with every thread of my being that that man was out to harm me or someone..I just happened to be in his sights at that moment..thank God that guy was looking at bedspreads otherwise I don't want to think about what might have happened...
sorry this is so long but I am not over this...I can still see his face and the way that he was looking at me...not like, flirting, he was looking like, I am going to get you! scary!!!!

Cookie, what an awful experience. I am glad you were alert as to what the guy was up to and thank God you weren't harmed.

Cookie,  I am so glad you were alert and did what you did. That is down right scary.  I think I would report it to your LE even if it only alerts them to the fact that some sicko is out there running around.

I was scared to death...it was like surreal or something...I was glad that I kept my cool...If there would have been others around me, I would have confronted the guy and asked him what his problem was..My dil was surprised that I didn't give him a piece of my mind cause normally I am pretty outspoken..but honestly, I was frightened and there was no one about until I walked up to that guy to stay by me...
it was scary cause I could hear the guys footsteps in back of me..just like you hear about victims saying it happens...if he was really not up to no good, he would not have followed me at that point... he would have stayed where he was at, pretending to look at pots and pans! I will never forget his look or his face....I am still not over it...

do you think that I should pursue this more and go to the police? I am at least going to talk to the main manager...His wife is the owner of another store that I frequent so I will at least tell her to relay onto him..

I'm real glad that you didn't say anything to him, who knows what he may have done?  I would talk to the main manager, and then they can keep their eyes open if he comes in the store again.

Cookie    I would talk with the manger and his wife. It might help them set new store policies. To save someone in the future that wasn't as alert as you were yesterday.
