NoRose I am so sorry about your doctor appointment - first red flag was employees discussing a lawsuit - OMG that is absolutely appalling - I agree with JSM don't ever go back there ever.  I was so hopeful you would have had a good experience and that you would have gotten some answers and relief for your pain.........can't hurt to call your doctor and get in there and pound on some tables demanding some relief - heck what do you have to lose at this point.  You must be feeling terrible with a sinus and ear infection - I hope the meds work and fast.  I wish you were up here I have a wonderful doc who would take good care of you.

JSM I hope your back gets to feeling better and if not you best get that checked out.

It's a three pack of antibiotics, the first one already has helped, now my nose is running constantly, but that is good, get everything out of there. JSM, thanks for the tip on Primatene Mist, that is all I use for asthma, every prescription I have been put on for asthma never worked. And with the throat closing, I had that happen also from a medication, and I had to be taken to the ER, they gave me some kind of a shot. But I always keep Benadryl on hand for swelling of lips and hives.

I'm glad the medicine is working. Yep, Primatene worked like a charm. I keep some at home just in case I need it.

Just messing around in the house. But with everyone home today should be fun. Just read that ND is at -52 today with wind chill. So I guess our wind chill of -5 is nothing. 

  I will not complain about -5 windchill.

If my husband and my young neighbor boy don't get out of my house their is gonna be a smackdown.

morning all...baby Cookie grand daughter is taking her nap so I thought that I would peak in for a minute to see how everyone is doing...it is snowing snowing snowing here...Some of the schools in our area are closed today, not all though...I hate winter!

NoRose happy to hear the Zpack is kicking in - the young docs can be difficult sometimes.  I worked in a urology clinic for awhile and the one thing I learned was that privately held medical groups tend to give better care because the doctors money is on the line - this came from the docs themselves - not sure if you have any practices near you that are private but you may want to check into that.

I have a HMO, and have to go only to the providers in that group 

That does limit you but there may be some providers in the network that aren't part of a corporation - I may be wrong on this but you might want to check it out.

Yes ma'am grass is green, plants are dead, and fiance just mowed tuesday!!

took many breaths and had a few self talks, just need to lead my life better and be the most i can be and not drink so much    but i can do it i just have to want it, and i finally really do, so i am taking baby steps and one day at a time

  I wish they would spin out, but they would probably hit me. I think because they were driving 4 wheel drives, they think everyone can go their speed. I can't and I almost spun out trying to get up a hill.

They are just fools to drive that fast on icy roads 4 wheel drive or not. So glad you made it to work okay.  Just taking daughters dogs out this morning did slip and slide on the porch and yard.
