Made it home from post office, bread store, grocery store and Burger King!

Been watching a local TV station's weather blog forum thingy, and looks like we are in for at least 12" and possibly up to 24" starting tomorrow morning, ending Saturday evening, with some sleet sometime in the middle of this time-frame.

Time to hunker down yet again!

I have a spare snow blower.  You are welcome to come pick it up and I will have fresh nanaimo bars waiting to go back with you as well!   

This is one post I am NOT going to read to my husband, Northern Rose. LOL

I ate all the pecans I bought for the recipe.

How awful Brandi. I hope you don't get that much snow. I think Brandi the dog will have fun in it.

Thanks, JSM. I'll have tha camera at the ready to share with you all. Actually, Brandi loves the snow when it is like 3-4" deep (we recently found out) but when it is higher, she gets a bit upset like, how could you do this to me? Where did you put my yard?!

JSM, please get some rest and get well. BTW, my mother always made us kids stay home from school when we had a fever and would not let us go back until 24 hours after our fever passed too. I hated staying home when I did not feel sick anymore.

I can imagine Brandi not liking the high snow. I don't think Josef would like that either. I am going to get rest tonight. Probably will be in bed before 8. I can't believe the doctor wants me to stay home until my fever is gone for 24 hours. I think my fever broke while I was in the grocery store buying my soup. I started sweating horribly. I bet the check out people thought I was on herion or something.  If I don't go to work tomorrow, it will really mess my skating up next week, so I have got to go tomorrow. If I don't get well by Saturday, I am going to scratch from the competition.

Hey Tevye how you feeling? I have acute sinusitis. I thought it was just a cold, but I had 100 fever and I never run fever. I feel guilty leaving Josef, but it is so cold and rainy that I didn't want to have to walk him in this crap.

That's how mine started, bad sinus and ear infection, then it waltzed into bronchitis. I sure hope that doesn't happen to you. Believe me when I tell you that saline drops work, I have had allergies and sinus problems since I was very little. It helps release the pressure, and then I sneeze and sneeze which helps. I'm sitting here with a generous glass of Baileys, my head is spinning from these cases 

I didn't realize your bronchitis started as a sinus infection. To tell the truth, I would rather it be in my chest than in my head. I took some mucinex, so now I have drippy nose. BAILEYS  I gave my bottle away to my BGF. I wish I had some right now.

I"m cold, tired, and I seem to have a cold. But I"m good, last chemo is the 23rd. Big movie nite with grandson tomorrow after jail..I'm going to bed shortly. I'm pooped.

YOu, missy, should be in a hot shower, letting that steam do it's work. Drink lots of water (you don't want to hear my scientific explantion about water and colds) and sleep on the couch with your head up. Oh, and EAT MORE ICE CREAM!! You can never have too much ice cream...and after your great weight loss (way to go!) you deserve it. 

So one last chemo  Take care of that cold please. Don't overdo it!!! Stay away from the jail so you don't get any germs. I think I will take a shower and hope that helps. I hate drinking water, but I have downed a few glasses. I am going to eat some ice cream. I am kinda worried about the weight loss, that is quite a lot to lose when not really trying. Oh well, I will take it.

Sassy, good to see you. I don't envy your moving. I hate moving. But you will have a yard for a garden, so I am happy for you!

Mission, stay safe with that ice! We are in the bullseye for a huge storm slated to begin tomorrow morning. Anywhere from 12-24" of new snow. Just depends on how much will be rain/sleet (if any.)

I am taking my neighbor out to the grocery in a few minutes. That should be fun. hahaha.

Thanks Brandi!    Hope you're all ready for the snow.   We're all set - picked up a few extra 12-packs of beer.       We're in that 12-18 inch range.         Our biggest fear is the wind - hope we don't lose power.

Aww that is sweet No Rose.  I may not go in tomorrow and go in Sunday and get caught up so I can skate and get my nerves settled for the football game Sunday night. So hopefully it will work out for the best.

I seldom have an alcoholic beverage anymore, but we have some beer keeping cold in my car. LOL

I may enjoy a cold Coors tomorrow evening to celebrate the snow. I figure, you might as well enjoy it

And Maryland might just get more than they are predicting. That's my prediction for you! So stay warm, safe and enjoy the magical white stuff!
