I have been in limbo he!!. I got locked out of the cage over in the Powell thread. 
Meanwhile Taco chased the turkeys out of the yard again.  He went for a tail feather this time.   

Trimm, I can barely post over here, I am about to give up. Go Taco, get them turkeys!

Someone said we were going to get into the 20s for a high this week.  I am shivering just thinking about it.

Since I'm as dumb as dirt, when it comes to this Global Warming, someone could explain this all day long too me, and it would be pointless. Anyway, there has always been weird weather patterns, so I'm not sure why all this talk about Global Warming, and if there is such a thing, SO California must be experiencing it

Morning, Monks! If someone sees a mod around, will you ask them to remove the HANG from the thread title? I wonder if Klaas thought it was intentional, as so many of us have been having troubles. I think it was operator error...but at any rate, I DO NOT WISH TO HANG JSM! how stupid would I be to hang the person who is going to bail me outta jail?

I was just watching Local news ....we have a warm up coming, low tonight of only 19..... yippee. The mountains of N.C. are really catching it. It is 3 degrees there right now with wind chills at 30 below. And snowing there. I don't know much about Global Warming but we never have this kind of cold for this many days in a row. This is suppose to continue into next week.

I just finished reading Beth Holloway's book" Loving Natalee" . If you haven't read it, it is a good read. I feel so very sorry for Beth.

I just finished reading Beth Holloway's book" Loving Natalee" . If you haven't read it, it is a good read. I feel so very sorry for Beth.

I will get that book and read it, I sure enjoyed the book written by Laci Peterson's mother. I don't know anything about Global Warming, all I know is there is some very weird weather happening all over  You could get snow with those kind of temps

I had been wanting to read Beth's book, but never could get it at the library here and could not afford the $25 price tag.I get most of my reading at the library or buy them at Goodwill. Just happened to run across it at the Dollar Tree so got it for $1.00. I was crying at the end of it. Beth is truly a woman to admire and my heart breaks for her.

Yep, I can explain it.  A group of left-wing so-called scientists got together and decided they could make some moolah by saying that carbon released into the atmosphere is warming the earth and melting the polar cap.  (However, the polar cap is five times larger than they thought, due to a satellite blip.)  Since we all release carbon into the air as we breathe, we are all guilty and have to either stop breathing or pay to do so.  Here's where Algore comes in.  He can sell you carbon credits so you can keep breathing, as he jets around the world releasing more carbon than the average 10 humans would release in a lifetime, and the electricity used at his house in Nashville is 10 times more each month than the average house uses in a year.  As an aside, his father before him was a crook, too.  Then governments the world over got together and decided the US is the culprit so they will punish the US with a UN tax on all US citizens and require developed countries to become undeveloped so that India and China, which will be exempt, can become developed.  Then a hacker got into the computers from Leeds University in England and discovered emails conspiring to push this admittedly phoney scam and how to do away with scientists who disagree with them.  Last week some German scientists proved that the global warming theory is scientifically impossible and incidentally, the entire world was cooler by l/2 of one degree last year. 

Our glorious leader, being in favor of one-world government and a socialist if not a Marxist and a Muslim, wants us to punish ourselves for this infringement on the atmosphere by limiting the amount of carbon industry can put into the air by capping the amount and allowing these caps to be traded around for money. 

The fact is that throughout the existence of the earth, there have been periods of cooling and heating up.  It is a natural occurence.  If the earth were going through a warming, which it is not, it would be a natural phase.  If anything, the earth is heading for an ice age.

Oh, and those cute little polar bears which are vanishing because of global warming?
There are five times more polar bears than there were ten years ago.

It's a big scam by politicians greedy enough to give away this country.  It's hogwash.
