Goodness gracious i just cant seem to get full today!! ive already had small bowl of stir fry veggies, cup of soup, cucmbers in vinegar, and now a cucumber tomatoe and cream cheese samich 

No wonder you can't get full, that is rabbit food.

Birmingham Alabama Guard unit displays its Crimson Tide spirit

They'll be watching Alabama play Texas, tuning in at 5 a.m. Friday, based on their Afghanistan time zone. (Special)Members of the Alabama Army National Guard's Company B, 1st Battalion, 169th Aviation Regiment, sport the Alabama college football championship T-shirts they recently received through the efforts of a Montgomery couple, Charlie and Bette Sue Strasburger.

The Strasburgers originally thought they might send over a handful of shirts to Alabama Guard soldiers serving in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, but they ended up raising enough money to pay for the manufacture and mailing of 1,400.

The soldiers of Birmingham-based Company B are in Afghanistan, where they have a fleet of Chinook choppers to haul troops, supplies and heavy weapons, and support the Army's Third Infantry Division.

"We're always ready for Alabama to play," unit 1st Sgt. Eddy Ambrose said in an e-mail, "but the mission comes first!"

Unit members plan on watching tonight's BCS Championship game between Alabama and Texas, which will begin at 5:30 a.m. Friday in their part of the world.

We have spandex riders too, the scariest part is when they have a triatholon here, the bike ride goes in front of my apartments. Some of those people (God Bless them) have NO business riding bikes in their swimsuits in public.    I will give them credit, they are getting exercise, but some might want to look in the mirror before they squeeze into a spandex bikini.

like instead of having yummy turkey toast for breakfast, a sandwhich for lunch and mashed cheesey taters for dinner i would pick one meal to have a major carb but not eat alot of it, just a small portion, i have a huge problem with when something is really frickin yummy i wanna eat it all, even if im full!! or even if im not quite hungry i know i brought a yummmy arse lunch and want it know!!

so i am trying to eat healthier

Carrie what is turkey toast?

it is my own yummy little invention!!

i love to make food and mix diff things up and make little concoctions..

Turkey Toast:

1 slice of bread ( i eat the oat nut kind)
small amount of cream cheese
sliced or shreded left over turkey
sliced tomatoe
salt pepper


i toast my bread slightly heat up the turkey (we recieved a very large smoked turkey as a gift, sooo yummy and sooo much better than deli! )

i spread just enough cream cheese on my toast to lightly cover it, then place turkey on top, sliced tomatoes on turkey then salt and pepper.

nice yummy light but filling breakfast!!

PS much easier to cut up toast into bite size pieces after cream chz before turkey 

OMG... so i had to get up and go get some smoked turkey out of the fridge to munch on after reading this!  LOL

Good afternoon monkeys.... trying to get caught up again.

My granddaughter is back in the hospital under an oxygen tent today.  She just hasn't been able to shake this RSV yet.  Please keep her in your prayers.  I jut got this news a few minutes ago and it is worrying me to death.

Well that is when it gets interesting seeing a 200 lb woman in spandex  But the people I'm talking about that are riding their bikes in the most ridiculous get ups, are Olympic wannabes, I get really mad when there is a huge horde of them.

I don't like Josh, never have, he has always given me the creeps. I pray for the person that was found and if it was Susan, seems like they will have a cause of death because of the weather being so cold. Unlike poor Caylee being found in a swamp. I am going to go to Susan's thread before I take Joe outside. I have to put my ski pants on before I go.  If you would like to come visit Texas, come now, we are having lovely weather this week.

  I'm getting my ski pants on, so I can take Josef outside. I pray this is the one and only time we go out tonight. I would rather go out early in the morning on our way to work than go two or three times tonight.    My old bones can't take this weather, he is loving it.
