Was just thinking about you. Wondering how you were doing and when you might be getting you computer back?

yesterday was dreadfull, I gotta remember that Mondays after chemo suck the big one! I did take my puter in, seems there's an "Issue" with the logic board on mymodel of MacBook Pro. So, today I officially becam City Mac's most annoying customer. I called them just to see if my part came in...no delivaries yet. Even then, they won't know for sure if the logic board is the issue untill they install it. I reminded them again about the 4 term papers due tomorrow...then i called my teacher and left  a voice mail for her to call me back, and said "the dog ate my computer!" If she doesn't already hate me, she will now!

So, I'm still occasionally borrowing hubby's turtle, but Idon't want to leave any tracks, so no bookmarks, no passwords (this is the only site I remember the password for!) and spending very little time on it. It is very kind of him to share. Can you tell his keyboard is a different size than mine? Oh well, it's better than nothing.

On the good news front, my Creative Suite 4 arrived today..finally I'll have photoshop and all my cool adobe apps again...I'm so glad I realized that I could get them for a hefty education discount...gotta get everything updated while I'lm still a student.

Oh, and Mission? Thanks for the snow! I don't care how bad the stomr is, if my puter isready today, I"m heading to town!

The comment about the dog ate my computer was so funny!!!

Seriously, though, spend a few bucks and get an external Hard drive for backups of important stuff like passwords, your research, and your browser with bookmarks, etc. Then you could run it off any other computer and not leave a trace.

Thanks Trimm. I feel a little better, but I took Josef to school to stay overnight. It is just too cold to walk him while I feel horrible.

What a good idea, JSM. I see in the next post you stayed home.

A wise decision, IMO, until you REALLY feel better. Did you call your doc today?

You can't make this stuff up, if you sat all day and tried. And how women go after men like Ron or worse is beyond me. The day I have to be a pen pal with a man like that in jail...well then it is time to lock me up in the booby hatch

Yes, I heard someone explain it on TV the other night, saying that the cold air in Canada has sunk south into the US and Canada is warmer than usual. We are getting Canada's cold air masses along with our higher than average rainfall, which gets turned into snow for most places.

It's really sad, in a way that women insert themselves into male criminal's lives (not to mention their mental states.)

Some, I think want to change the man, others want to make money off their stories.

This new gal sounds certifiable to me. Just nutz!

Hi cookie! Welcome back from your cruise. Sorry you are suffering what sounds like acid reflux symptoms!

I read what Mission suggested to you and totally agree with her suggestions. Be sure to get it treated though, if the acid remains, you can get scarring and it can lead to much worse symptoms. My ex ignored his, and had to be hospitalized a few times and get a tube inserted down his throat, he could not swallow!

So treat it, please.
