The comment about the dog ate my computer was so funny!!!

Seriously, though, spend a few bucks and get an external Hard drive for backups of important stuff like passwords, your research, and your browser with bookmarks, etc. Then you could run it off any other computer and not leave a trace.

Brandi, I do have a huge external drive, anbd Time Machine backs everything up daily...only it only works on Leopard, and our okld puters only have tiger installed on them. so, yeah, my work is still saved, just not on a computer I can access

In the good news dept. I finally got my old ibook running!Now I just have to find the old external drive with Word on it, and I can do my homework, sorta. AT least it's faster than this (but can't tell hubby!! I'm so bad!) Back to computer wars, and NCIS and Lost, and then homework.

Oh Brandi the pain when I had a kidney stone was unbelievable also  Worse then child birth if you ask me.

I have never had a kidney stone, I hear they are horrible. I hope Northern gets some relief from the pain. 

I do also, because it is awful, and when I had one, when the ER finally sent me home, I was lucky enough to pass it right away.   The box had about a pound of bird seed in it, and the mouse had ripped apart some of the stuffed animals

Boy, does this make me feel old and send me down Memory Lane at the same time. My skates when I was little were just like these. The strap was red. Always had trouble not getting them too tight or too loose on my saddle shoes. LOL

I had some too.  Strap was leather not plastic or pleathor, real metal not some aluminum alloy. 

mine were like that too! and didn't we have a key to tighten the area around the toes? those were the days!

We sure did have a key, and we would wear it around our necks on a chain, so cool.

I never had those kind of skates, but I remember so old song about brand new roller skates and a key. It never made sense to me. Now I get it.

JSM   I thought my face was going to freeze walking from the store to my car. That was with a little breeze. I heard tonight maybe snow Thursday. I am going to hold them to maybe a inch. I know how you feel I am so ready for my toes be warm again. 

Grand kids are home again tomorrow because of the water main break. They got it fixed but the water is still not safe for the kids to drink or wash their hands. It looks like they will go back on Thursday. Just in time for the snow.

I saw that tonight on the news that school is still shut because of the broken water main. I don't know what I would do without clean water. Stay warm, if they say we will have snow, then that means it won't happen.  I don't want snow on Thursday because I have to drive to the rink way north almost to Oklahoma to practice.  Too bad the roads will be fine this weekend, that would give me an out on my competition.  I am not telling family or friends when I am skating, cause I don't want them to come see me make a fool of myself.  I will wait until May when I am ready with my new program.

Mine is like Jamie Lee Curtis, and I don't look like a man, at least I don't think so    We must have had a little tornado or something that just flew past us, it knocked down stuff in my yard and balcony, and flung open one of my doors. I ran outside and secured stuff in the rain, no wonder I'm sick all the time  And needless to say Zoe is freaked out.

  I have been told since I was in High School I look like Jamie Lee Curtis. I may do it before the competition, but I am very scared to cut it. I don't wear makeup so I am afraid people will think I swing the other way

No Rose, how long does it take you to do your hair? I am really thinking about chopping mine all off. You have made me really thing about doing it.  Now I have to find someone that will cut it correctly!!!

It takes me about five minutes to do my hair, but I have to have it cut every 3-4 weeks, once it hits a certain point I have trouble with it. My hair and nails grow very, very fast, annoyingly fast

My hair grows very fast too, I really think I am going to do it!! Maybe dye it a really wild color!! Just kidding, I am just sick of ponytails that keep giving me headaches. I have too much hair and get sick of dealing with it.  I think a short cut will do me good!
