I had seen where that happened on the news with the shooting.  A few years ago we almost moved to Huntsville, my husband works for Boeing and he almost took a job there.

Isn't it sad? 

It just seems more and more people use violence to settle things, makes no sense at all

I had no idea there was such a homeless situation in Vancouver, I can barely keep up with happenings in this country.

Big homeless population in Vancouver.  Lots of drug addicts and peope with mental conditions live on the streets in downtown.  They did a big sweep to get them off the street for the Olympics which caused a controversy as they should be in treatment centres.  Not sure where they took them.

Thanks, if I recall correctly they really cleaned up Los Angeles when the summer olympics were here. I didn't know about the drug addicts and people with mental issues, but I'm sure every big city has that problem.

How is the weather there now Green Eyes? I'm sure the snow will melt fast, at least I would think so. We are going to have a few days of upper 70 temps, with that darn wind tonight and tomorrow. I can feel it coming my hands are getting itchy and dry. Hate that darn wind, but oh well.

It is warming up, and the snow is melting slowly. Still have enough for kids to play in. It's 40 so it wont be long before it's all gone. We are suppose to have winds tomorrow. With the temp being low 40's So it is going to feel colder with all the snow still around.

They just moved the start gate for ski jumping down as they were worried the men were going to out jump the hill as they are going so fast.  Remember is has been pouring rain out there for weeks so everything is iced up.
