It's going up to 42 degrees.  Woohoo,let's go swimming!   
I am LMAO,hubby is trying to record dvds.     I am not helping....he won't listen.   

   I win! He did it wrong.It is a guy thing.Don't read instruction or look at pickture.   
I am the winner.   
He gave me the look.      

Why is it that guys won't use the instructions that come with things?  This is a pet peeve of mine and it irks me every time my husband can't figure out how to do something but will just stumble through it acting like he knows what he is doing......... argggggggg

   I know what you mean.
Hubby is usually good at this stuff,but for some reason men think the more wires and boxes you have the better.I refuse to go back to the living room.

Dang, it has taken me since last Thursday to get the size of these right...well, that and all the funeral sick life carp...but anyway, I'm gettting ready for my trip to TX, JSM. Who else is going? Mission, aren't you and I meeting at the river in Chicago and driving down together? And then we're pickinng up Trimm, right?

At any rate, I'm ready to learn some line-dancin'!

My best friend from high school gave me these last week. In September, after all the bad news, she asked me what would make me feel better. I told her red cowboy boots, as I think they're illegal in my county, and if you're gonna kick cancer's azz, ya might as well do it in style! So, she said she had a blast shopping for these on ebay, and they're ALLIGATOR! Oh, poke salad annie!!! And they're a perfect fit! I'll wear them to class Weds., I don't care how much snow there is!



And this isn't all about me. Cookie, is it your grands that are in and out of the hosp? Last I knew, one was still in, I hope they're better.

JSM, ya lay down with dogs, yer gonna get up with a backache. Give Josef  a little more time to get used to his meds (that is the same one our Bandit took, after about 2 weeks it was like we had our puppy back!).

Trimm, OF COURSE you're husband goofed it up. he prolly didn't even look at the "Quick Start" guide that most manufacturers make ESPECIALLY FOR MEN!

Mission, are ya cold enough yet? This global warming is killing me! Sat 9 am, I'm in my nightgown and Sorels, out pruning our different pine trees  for the floral arrangements for my BIL's funeral. It was zero...the "noisy" cold I call it, cos every step sounds like the ice is cracking on the Big Lake!

morning all monkeys who got on here after I said good morning...hope everyone is doing ok and surviving the cold weather! brrrrr....I hate it...
hubs and I went to the gambling boat yesterday with a friend...hubs won, I lost...it was fun...filled an afternoon...We both love to play black jack...

My husband gambled on some boat when he was in Florida on business he had fun. I don't gamble, only did once at a casino in Wisconsin, I won a hundred bucks  I am probably the only person in the world who has driven through Las Vegas three times and never gambled. Spent the night there and stayed in the room, I'm a lot of fun 

You and I should do Vegas together. I only play the penny machines...and I have a 20$ limit. Most times, I tell my sisters that I should have just driven by the casino and thrown the $20 bill outta the window!
