Former Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska has signed on as a contributor to the Fox News Channel.

The network confirmed that Ms. Palin will appear on the network’s programming on a regular basis as part of a multi-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Ms. Palin will not have her own regular program, one person familiar with the deal said, though she will host an occasional series that will run on the network from time to time. This person would not elaborate, but the network does have a precedent for such a series. Oliver L. North is the host of an occasionally running documentary series on the military called “War Stories.”

Many suspected that when Ms. Palin retired as the governor of Alaska last summer she was doing so to pursue some sort of career in television. The Fox News deal, however, would not seem to be all encompassing, and would appear to give her room for other pursuits, as well.

I always knew he did (like who didn't). The good thing is he finally admitted it, but it took him a really long time! I guess better late than never though?

Dang, it has taken me since last Thursday to get the size of these right...well, that and all the funeral sick life carp...but anyway, I'm gettting ready for my trip to TX, JSM. Who else is going? Mission, aren't you and I meeting at the river in Chicago and driving down together? And then we're pickinng up Trimm, right?

At any rate, I'm ready to learn some line-dancin'!

My best friend from high school gave me these last week. In September, after all the bad news, she asked me what would make me feel better. I told her red cowboy boots, as I think they're illegal in my county, and if you're gonna kick cancer's azz, ya might as well do it in style! So, she said she had a blast shopping for these on ebay, and they're ALLIGATOR! Oh, poke salad annie!!! And they're a perfect fit! I'll wear them to class Weds., I don't care how much snow there is!



And this isn't all about me. Cookie, is it your grands that are in and out of the hosp? Last I knew, one was still in, I hope they're better.

JSM, ya lay down with dogs, yer gonna get up with a backache. Give Josef  a little more time to get used to his meds (that is the same one our Bandit took, after about 2 weeks it was like we had our puppy back!).

Mission, are ya cold enough yet? This global warming is killing me! Sat 9 am, I'm in my nightgown and Sorels, out pruning our different pine trees  for the floral arrangements for my BIL's funeral. It was zero...the "noisy" cold I call it, cos every step sounds like the ice is cracking on the Big Lake!

  Come on down. I love the boots Tevye. I hope all went well with the funeral.  That was a nice thing for your friend to get you those boots. I think tonight, Josef is on his own. He can sleep on the floor, I will stay on the bed.

morning all monkeys who got on here after I said good morning...hope everyone is doing ok and surviving the cold weather! brrrrr....I hate it...
hubs and I went to the gambling boat yesterday with a friend...hubs won, I lost...it was fun...filled an afternoon...We both love to play black jack...

My husband gambled on some boat when he was in Florida on business he had fun. I don't gamble, only did once at a casino in Wisconsin, I won a hundred bucks  I am probably the only person in the world who has driven through Las Vegas three times and never gambled. Spent the night there and stayed in the room, I'm a lot of fun 

You and I should do Vegas together. I only play the penny machines...and I have a 20$ limit. Most times, I tell my sisters that I should have just driven by the casino and thrown the $20 bill outta the window!

Let's go, right now I'll go anywhere but jail, for a fun time. Love your boots, I will even squeeze my big feet in a pair  Hope all went well at the funeral

I'm having a crappy day, guessed that one right when I glanced in my crystal ball this morning. So now yesterday I bought a new mattress pad, because I like to replace that every six months, and I did buy the right size. So there I am trying to get that on the mattress, because it wasn't fitting right, the one side took off like a sling shot and just missed my face    I played with that thing till I got it on the bed, even jumped on the bed to make sure it wasn't going to move. It is now time to put some Baileys in my coffee

My daughter sits here and watches that awful show Jersey Show, asked me to watch with her, about five minutes into that crap I felt like vomiting, I was speechless. Sorry if anyone watches and likes that show, I do realize it is popular, I'm too old for that kind of show, that must be it

Those are some nice red sh!tkickers!  They are my twin grandbabies who are in and out of the hospital with that blasted RSV.  My granddaughter is still in there but I heard this afternoon, she will be released either tonight or tomorrow!  I have had my grandson here with me for the last 4 days recuperating.  I am getting used to having him underfoot.... gonna miss him when he goes home.  Thanks for asking.
